I donāt know about all these hot takes on the fenders likely coming from non-BRaptor owners but I have seen many different colors (including my own) and the fenders arenāt as strange in person and I think this painted look is not an upgrade compared to stock. It looks like some weird retro-Nazi...
it was headed to the "crusher" because it was a press car (#1 I think). All of the press and Offroadeo Broncos eventually get destroyed unless it goes to a museum or maybe taken apart for memorabilia/decor objects. VGJ and LH asked Ford for one of these vehicles since they knew they were...
What you call āFlat Passā is just the name of the mountain bike trail that also runs on part of Steel Bender but I donāt think anyone really bikes on this trail. The Wells book distinguishes Steel Bender Loop from Steel Bender Flat Pass Route but it is commonly run from the North entry...
It wasnāt damaged to begin with. They just removed the body panels to avoid damaging them. After they did Pritchett there was some damage to a tail light. They also did high dive at behind the rocks.
I thought he said he took his diff cover off. Also Iāve mostly driven electric cars the last 4 years so Iāve spent very little unwanted time at any dealership other than getting a Porsche loaner or a free Audi car wash while enjoying a drink and cookie.
What I donāt understand is why the OP would go about taking their car apart when this would clearly be a warranty issue. Seems counter intuitive to ātake careā of it when the dealer can do it for you and has access to TSBs, etc.
Iāve had a lot of engine and tranny warranty stuff done and at no...
The wrangler 4xe isnāt that affordable in general however in terms of leasing if you can get the tax credit in the form of a cap cost reduction it can be pretty reasonable and then you donāt need to worry about your tax liability. The 4xe is considered one of the better lease deals in recent...
šyeah, I took a look while washing mine and it has the rain gutter cut out in between the doors. So I suspect people are possibly getting out before the water flows off the rain gutter. In any case, Iāve lived in a dry place and a rainy place and I donāt think thereās a perfect solution to the...
JL hardtops have rain gutters. Not sure about the older ones. Pretty sure the Bronco MIC has no rain gutter. It is completely smooth. That being said I think the water tends to flow off the roof towards the back because of channels in the roof. Jeep also has these channels.
Well itās more like $7500 with the tax credit. $5k if youāre in TX or some states with additional incentives. Also, there are dealers that discount 4xes so if you order it from the right dealer it might be a wash.
The Badlands/Wildtrak is more fun for higher speed off-roading and itās roomier...
Iām an agent and my dad used to be a Farmers agent. Farmers tends to have poor rates. I would look at Amiga or Progressive.
Progressive discounts get better over time and they have higher coverage limits if you need to max out your liability. However, State Farm and Allstate can do a bundle...
There appear to be some defective design choices with the doors and tailgate as a few people have noted paint chips where the doors touch the body.
Supposedly this is an alignment issue but I think Ford failed to spec appropriate gaskets between the door and the body to limit contact when the...
I havenāt done top of the world but I think Sasquatch with a rear locker should be able to do it if you stay right at the fork but there is damage potential since it has a lot of ledgy obstacles. The Jeep Badge of Honor app is a good place for recent trail reviews but I think the Wrangler can do...
The bottom left corner has a noteably shorter distance between the interior panel and the exterior panel. I made a note of this when I was drilling and on all the other holes I know I hit the exterior panel when drilling and still did not drill into it. I was far more careful with this bottom...
I live in Moab for much of the year so I know you can get a decent taste of things in 2.5 days.
You may want to avoid the harder āoff roadā stuff with that little time because youāll spend a lot of time covering very little ground.
If youāre not into rock crawling but want to get on some fun...
