I have a Ranger FX4 and a Bronco BD 2 Door and have no issues with the brakes on either but i do remember feeling weird about the brakes when i went from my performance cars to the truck so maybe it just takes some getting used to? But overall with a 2019 Ranger and almost 4k on the bronco...
Over 1200 miles on my 2 door BD and i honestly couldnt be happier with the purchase. I am glad i stuck with it and did not attempt to go 4 door or Big Bend to get it built quicker.
7/13/2020 reservation within first 15 minutes, order 1/22/2021, vin 4/22/2021, build date 7/12/2021, and finally received it 11/11/2021. Only took roughly 16 months from start to finish!
Holy crap I just checked my tracker and it says "Built"!! Haven't received an email yet and the tracker on here still says "in production" but it looks like I might finally be leaving prison after 112 days!
I understand the whole "can't stop production" aspect and I'm not disappointed in that. What I'm disappointed in is the other builds in Dirt Mountain getting tops when they were the newer builds. For instance, August builds in Dirt Mountain are now getting tops while June and July builds still...
As someone who has been a loyal ford customer for years, I am at my breaking point. Ford has lied numerous times throughout this Bronco fiasco and I don't know why I expected anything different when they said the hard tops on Dirt Mountain will be replaced with oldest orders being fixed first...
Seeing all these 2 doors at the end of July and now beginning of August while a lot of ours are still sitting makes me think Ford has just forgotten or lost ours. Their email even said "prioritizing older builds first". Anyone reach out to our good pal Levine or even Jalopnik about this? It's...
I'm a 7/12 build (so right after you guys) and I'm still waiting on my built email while plenty of 2 Doors built after mine have gotten theirs. We are apparently under the dirt mountain at this point.
I don't understand how ford has completely thrown their promise of FIFO out the window. I'm glad people are getting their broncos but at the same time it's frustrating seeing people still with 6/30 blends and myself at 7/12 still missing our broncos but ones builds weeks later are getting...
We need a tracker on further dirt mountain delays. My 7/12 Blend still isn't built...what happened to Ford following Blend dates for fixing Dirt Mountain???
The Mustang was never actually referred to as a 1964 1/2. Over the years it stands for the original early build 1965 Mustangs since the later MY1965 ones had some changes. So basically the 2021 Bronco will be the equivalent of the 1964 1/2 Mustang.
So looking at the FAQs further, basically those of us who are built 2 doors but sitting at Dirt Mountain don't even qualify for the extra $1100 worth of Ford Pass points? I feel like the 2 door folks are the ones who have been screwed the most by all of this and we don't even get the "I'm sorry"...
I'll be very curious to hear what happens to those of us who are part of the bad batch. My bronco was supposedly built a month ago now but still sitting on a lot. As a first 15 min reservation holder who ordered in January I'll be pissed if we are basically told to pound sand.
Sorry about your bad break. Hopefully this is a one off issue. I picked up a new 2017 Mustang GT back in 2017 and it threw a rod in less than 24 hours. I was furious but thankfully ford made it right and I never had anymore issues after that. Nothing like being excited to bring home a new...
