    The fellow in the video said production stays in Japan. Hope he's right, and I think a lot of 4Runner fans will jump ship if production moves to Mexico. A big part of the appeal is the perceived quality that comes from being made in Japan.

    Fair point. There do seem to be some design issues but UAW workers still don't instill much confidence.

    Still made in Japan=I'm in. Sorry if this hurts anyones feelings but I was already on the fence about replacing my current 4runner with a Bronco but the recent quality issues reinforce my fear that UAW employees in Detroit just can't build a quality product, and no way I'm buying a Mexican built...

    To be honest, one of the reasons I've hesitated at pulling the trigger is because it is made in Detroit! Between the UAW's not exactly stellar reputation and Detroit being what it is, I have very little faith that the Bronco will be screwed together properly.
