  2. Report: Ford Performance Tune for Bronco Raptor Arriving Q1 2024

I drive a 2.7L Badlands and the Ford Performance tune is well worth the money! I have a friend who has a 2.7L F-150 and he can't believe how much better the power and shifting is compared to his truck.
  3. My soft shackle failure experience 🤕 -- The Off-Road Recovery That Almost Killed Me

@popo_patty glad to hear you are OK. Thank you for sharing your experience to educate others, likely knowing you would receive backlash / negative comments. There's quite a bit of humility on your part in sharing your experience. AAR/post mortems/incident reviews are a fantastic tool for...
  4. REMEMBER 4 YEARS AGO?

7/13 reservation here... I've had my Bronco for just under a year. Hardtop, sasquatch, 2.7L, tow package constraints pushed a lot of early reservation holders back. I remember 4 years ago: gas, groceries, and just about everything else was cheaper... but yeah the economy is great now because...
  5. Outside temp sensor module f*cked?

Sure did. The dealership was not bad to deal with. They put me in a rental car w/o any fuss while they kept it overnight for the initial diagnosis. My only complaint is they were slow to bring my Bronco up to the front for me to drive home both times I picked it up. I had to go to the service...
  6. Outside temp sensor module f*cked?

My ambient air temperature sensor went crazy on me when we had a couple of inches of rain a few weeks ago. Check engine light went on, notifications in fordpass app, & temp read as high as 163 degrees. I got video over a one-minute period of the 'temperature' going from 97 to 156 degrees. My...
  7. Rear seatbelts flapping with top off -- how to fix?

I just buckle them and call it good. It does not eliminate noise but it's better than them not being buckled. IIRC it helps to hit the tensioner limit first to keep them tensioned.
  8. A Ditch Light Photo Data Point (Comparison Pics)

Great comparison photos. Thanks for sharing! These are the lights you are running here? https://www.diodedynamics.com/stage-series-3-sae-dot-white-pro-led-pod-pair.html in Combo primary optic.

  11. SpeedO Correction Options 37s+? Tires and Gears

FWIW - I have a 2.7L with 4.70 gears and went from factory 35" sasquatch tires to 37'' BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. I have the Ford performance calibration and adjusted the revs/mile to 569 when I put on the 37" tires because that is what I found online here. My speedometer seems about...
  12. Anyone Running 37s on Wildtrak with NO Spacers? Reports?

Not a wildtrack, but I have a Badsquatch running 37x12.5x17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 on Method 703 0 offset wheels with the JKS max tire clearance kit. (no body or suspension lift at this point, Method wheels and JKS kit are my only modifications) I went on a hard trail and found a few spots...
  13. Bigger tires on same factory wheels (Outer Banks non Sasquatch)?

It really depends on the tire. I have a Badsquatch and am currently running 37x12.5x17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 on Method 703 0 offset wheels with the JKS max tire clearance kit. (no body lift or suspension lift at this point, Method wheels and JKS kit are my only modifications so far.) I went...
  14. California Five 2023 Badlands Sasquatch Beadlock wheels & tires w/TPMS

Five Factory OEM 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands Sasquatch Beadlock capable wheels and tires, TPMS included. Due to a mix up with the installer of my new wheels and tires the TPMS are not on the wheels. TPMS are these ones...
  15. Cybertruck recovery by Ford diesel

I give you the Griswold family Christmas tree... looks great, little full, lotta sap!" Sadly, I had to take off the bottom couple of inches of branches to fit it in the tree stand.
  16. Cybertruck recovery by Ford diesel

I chalk up some of the more egregious issues with the Cybertruck prototypes on the road so far to a combo of driver error and software problems. However, no recovery points at all is a significant design flaw that needs to be remedied ASAP. Software issues are the wildcard that worry me about...
  17. Cybertruck recovery by Ford diesel

Here's the crew cab in the snow one year ago today. I didn't think the tree we cut down was too big, but after we cut it down we realized how wide and tall it was while loading it on the truck. It looked small in comparison to the other huge trees it was around, but it was still 10 feet tall...
