If I can't use the $2500 voucher on some accessories for my Ranger, I'll be looking at a used Explorer ST, a V60 Cross Country, or possibly going over to Jeep. I was really looking forward to the Bronco, but after taking my Ranger on a 2 week road trip with my dogs, I definitely need something...
Time to call up my dealership tomorrow and see if this is true. If it is, guess I'll be keeping the Ranger for a lot longer than I thought I was. Time to go buy that camper shell I've been looking at for the last two years, but haven't bought hoping my September 2020 reservation would be built soon.
Does anyone know if these are single mass or dual mass flywheels? It sort of sounds like clutch chatter, I have that on my SVT Focus when I went down to a billet single mass flywheel. Chatters very loudly until the clutch has been pressed in.
Order Reservation Date: 9/18/2020
Order Conversion: 2/21/21
Base - 2 door - Hardtop - Manual - Aux switches, and that's it. No SAS package, no other options...nothing. Talked to my dealer at the beginning of the month, and changed over to Eruption Green. Between the 2/21/21 order conversion...
Normal. It's the same thing that happens when you take a cool glass of water outside on a hot day, just in reverse. The only time you need to worry is if you're getting thick, dense white/black/blue smoke out the tail pipe. And by thick I mean...you can't see through it thick.
Reserved September 18th 2020
Converted to an order 2/21/21
Since no action was taken, it automatically was rolled over to a MY22 order, where it sat.
Converted to an order again just a couple weeks ago and rolled back over to a MY23.
As of posting this, I am on Day 778 since placing my order...
Trust me, I have no idea what the hell is going on. But I'm comforted by knowing that there are people who ordered in August 2020 and still haven't been scheduled.
I'm in the same boat. 9/18/20 order date, still no even a scheduled build date. Contacted the dealer, they're in the dark on it too. Bought a 21 Ranger XLT as a stop-gap. It's frustrating that a buddy of mine has ordered 3 Bronco's in early 2022 and all of them have been built and shipped...
The engine in the Bronco is being lifted from the Focus RS, and beyond Ford installing the incorrect head gasket on those initially, there really hasn't been any major issues with those. I know several people with highly modified big turbo Focus RS's, zero reliability issues with the engine even...
Honestly, I just wanted to go to a state where it doesn't get below zero. Coupled with the low cost of living in Texas, seemed like a no-brainer. Up until 2013, I was living an hour south of the Canadian border in Northern Minnesota. Then, I moved to Minneapolis to pursue a career, but got tired...
