So, BroncRider, what did you do for the trailer brake controller? It doesn't show this in the kit from Ford? Did you buy a Redarc seperately and install it? If so where did you plug it in?
Thanks
Don't know if this helps you, but I just posted this in another thread regarding the Intrepid Camp Gear RTT I just received:

My son provided a very humbling experience last summer and said "Dad, I'll buy your plane ticket to Iceland for your birthday if you'll go to Iceland with me". How can you refuse an offer like that, it cost him $1100 and cost me $5000! I'm obviously not as smart as I thought I was. :ROFLMAO...
Wow, a lot of great posts and ideas on this thread. I've done a lot of digging into trailers and ideas that fit my needs. One trailer that I didn't see on this thread is the Nuthouse Peanut out of Ohio. If money was no object, I'd probably buy this, put a good RTT and awning on it.
Nuthouse...
The "BF Deal" was buying it all at once! The sucking sound in my wallet is pretty loud at the moment. It was a nice X-mas present to myself though! :sneaky:
I got to see and feel the fabric on the new iKamper BDV Duo but was concerned that the fabric wasn't as waterproof as I would like...
Kind of over did it since the sale prices were so good.

I did the same test when I drove a demo soft top 4 door with the same db app. The soft top on the same road at 70 mph was coming in the same as the hard top, 82-85 db. Sad but true that the hard top is so noisy! It is all wind noise on the top and panel seams.
For reference, I have a 2022 WildTrak with the sound deadening. From the factory at 70 MPH the noise level was 82-85 db. After doing 2/3 or the sound deadening tips on B6G, that dropped to 75-78 db. I was using the iPhone db Meter Pro app to test this. Cheers!
Thanks, the salesman is pretty lax on knowledge and processes but I finally got to the woman that handles all the order entry and tweaks. She is awesome so now "I'm in the know" so to speak. Hopefully, all goes smoothly from here.
So this showed up today, I'm sure it is part of the Ford money that was allocated to offset the long delivery times. Pretty cool, though. From Kendall Ford in Meridian, ID.
I've done a lot of tire research on this issue since I will be driving in a lot of on road snow and ice conditions during the winter. Wet traction isn't as big of an issue but still a concern. My choice is the Falken WildPeak's as well. They are highly rated on Tirerack.com. Should be a...
