I went back and forth on going with a Black Diamond and the Badlands. In the end I went full send got loaded up the Badlands because I don't really have the mechanical skills to add things. And if installing the compressor & winch the last few weeks shows anything I made the right decision...

Installed the ARB Twin compressor with the Grimm offroad mount. It wasn't a horrible installation, just some of the bolts and brackets are hard to get to if your hands aren't toddler sized.... But once its installed it is a great solution. I know there are other mounts out there that are much...

Thanks man! I like the setup you went with! It looks like I'll save myself some headache and forget about even trying. Not too disappointed since backlight isn't mentioned when ordering at all. I had a boatload of FordPass points saved up, so got $1700ish worth of lights for a couple hundred...

@ScoutandBronco I have to ask, did you try?? I just picked these up from the Ford dealer along with a 40" light bar... I'm going to install them this weekend, but don't know if I'll bother trying to get the backlight going.

Sorry, not a question/comment about the CV joints, but where did you get that front bumper? It appears that it accommodates the LUX technology & a winch. I've got the lux package and want a winch, I didn't want to sacrifice the money I paid for LUX and not have it work correctly after adding...
