But that 1st gear is soo short when it was on 30's !!!!
LOL!!
Anymore , I tend to look at what RPM's I would be turning at 78/80mph in 6th with a given tire gear combo.
The logic behind that is how well this thing runs and how much my fuel mileage improved running it at 2600/2700 rpm in 5th...
Damn, did they have the top down??? LOL!
But seriously, the vast majority of the 11000 miles on my 4dr softy are road trip/vacation miles .... it's noisy at 80mph, but not that bad, and the 2dr MIC is only somewhat better.
WHUUUT???
Took a trip through Pennsylvania, Virginia, W. Virginia, N. Carolina ..... I am now SMITTEN with the country side in that area.
One leg through the Shenandoah area, I was ready to trade the 4dr Bronco in for a Camaro SS ... manual.
Turns so tight going through the hills and mountains ... I...
Is there a certain average velocity that you'd like this laden Bronco to travel at?
... and what would you like it laden with?
... and for OP's sake, please use metric/maple system units of measure.
Boy, they'll share your info with their clients IMMEDIATELY, but if you want that info .... snail mail.
I'm glad 35's on a vehicle that thinks it's on 30's makes it think I drive really slowly!

That's one reason I went with the standard Badlands on 33's. I felt the Squatch might be too soft for optimal towing, but the Badlands still packed all the other goodies (advanced/lockers).
Even with the 4 banger, the Bronco pulled the boat better than my Dad's 1/2 ton chebby truck. It just has...
My Badlands with 33's needs a 3.25" drop receiver.
2" allllmost made it, but no go.... Couldn't get the lock all the way up.
I am not a fan of extenders at all, many others disagree.
Just follow the manufacturers suggestions...
What motor and gears in the OBX?
If it doesn't have the locking rear with lower gears, take a pass and get the WT.
I towed a 3000 lb fishing boat with my 4cyl/auto/4.46 Badlands.
It handled it fine, both motor-wise and handling-wise.
I wouldn't rush out to swap springs just yet, unless you...
That's what I used on the guide pins on the front panels to stop the popping noise.
Just a super thin coat applied with a q-tip.
Silent for the past two years.
