Yes, I suppose if you zoom in, you can tell there's weatherstripping peeking through the crack - if you know what you're looking for....

If that's your photo - and I think it is (admittedly cropped a bit by me but otherwise as you posted it) - there's no weatherstripping (should be on the inside, slightly recessed part so it seals with the hood when closed).

Got it. Since your photos didn't show the weatherstripping, I wasn't sure.

Did you install without the included weatherstripping? If so, how's the fit and seal? I installed with the weatherstripping but I'm wondering if it was even necessary....

Not sure if anyone chimed in on this before but the headlight situation isn't you banging your knee into the switch. It's a known flaw. Dealer first said "new switch per Ford." Eventually, the switch came in and now, it's not the switch but some internal issue that they hope to have a fix for in...

Was a $100 refundable deposit to reserve. When my dealer said I could come in and order, I placed an order (differebr version than I reserved - they didn't care) and gave another small, totally refundable deposit. When it comes in, I'll decide if I wanna buy it. If not, I get my $ back, no harm...
