Lol seems like there’s a bit of confusion as to the extent of my injuries. I broke 5 vertebrae and my C4 was literally shattered. The post snapping caused my neck to be broken by the top of the seat back.
i had considered this and it’s certainly a possibility but I think the bending acted as a crumple zone, the snapping off and complete removal of support not so much. At some point as you crank up the force and increase the neck support you absolutely would eventually cause a skull fracture but...
I put these conical ones on mine and it makes me feel pretty secure since my Bronco is parked outside and like you said Sasquatch wheels and tires have to be a pretty tempting target.

Good point about the seat airbag, I hadn't even thought about that yet.
Not too far off on the semi, it was a one ton pulling a huge horse trailer (no horses in it at the time, luckily for both them and me).
Yeah, just my neck snapping back.
I would guess part of it could also be attributed...
I was rear ended and severely/permanently injured in my F-150, which was totaled and which I eventually replaced with my Bronco, and I just started sort of thinking "what if this happens again" and went out and looked at the headrest posts on my Bronco and they're awfully similar to the ones...
Rained for the first time since they put a new wiper motor in: didn't fix it. First time I used them on low continuous they stayed on for a while and I thought it was actually fixed but next patch of rain did the same thing it was doing before, runs for a minute and then slows to intermittent...
They tried to get Ford to just approve a transmission replacement but they say Ford refused to do so without tearing down the old transmission and "verifying" what was wrong with it, so my Bronco is currently in pieces at the dealership.
My 23 Badsquatch now at the dealer for the scraping noises. Says they’re trying to get me a new trans rather than replace parts in the current one. Currently have 2000 miles on it but noticed the scraping noise nearly immediately. Maybe second or third day I had it.
I don’t have tint on my bronco but the same thing happened on my Tesla (also has frameless windows) and for whatever reason the tinted windows werent sealing well and you could hear air getting through at 70+. Cut the tint back 1/4 inch (still hidden when the window is up) and it fixed it.
