  1. Ford Performance DUAL catch cans for 2.7 engine now available

Yes catches on both sides, one more than the other. Prefer the factory look of the FP hoses over others, which at least makes the price seem less onerous, which it is. In hindsight, like said just above, it's highly unlikely a dealer would pull a warranty gripe for such an unobtrusive engine...
  2. UAW goes on strike @ MAP Bronco / Ranger factory [ADMIN WARNING: NO INSULTS, NO POLITICS]

no arrogance taken, an engineering undergrad and MBA from ranked schools lets me say the latter was indescribably easier than the former
  3. UAW goes on strike @ MAP Bronco / Ranger factory [ADMIN WARNING: NO INSULTS, NO POLITICS]

having slugged through a factory line job to get through/paying for college, to now working directly with CEOs (after having been one three times) I respectfully disagree
  4. UAW goes on strike @ MAP Bronco / Ranger factory [ADMIN WARNING: NO INSULTS, NO POLITICS]

Not seeking to carelessly fork this conversation in another direction... But isn't this the fallacy of BEV charging infrastructure too? Absurd costs for substation capacity and new delivery points. The American taxpayer gets hosed when federal bureaucrats are in charge of 'infrastructure...
  5. 2.3L EcoBoost® I-4 Engine vs 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 Engine... not sure which one?

Consider the 3.0 raptor engine is a 2.7 with the bore and stroke increased by 2-3 millimeters each. Other than that, it’s basically the same nano-architecture engine. except no port fuel injection in the 3.0, therefore the carbon buildup is there just like the 2.3 Perhaps this is why the ford...

yep, an ask for more money is fine in context of 2008 bailout-givebacks to our present day 2023 money-printing inflation. shame that the much of this money-printing is for EV incentives compounding the job security questions. UAW is in a tough spot. further appreciate your comment that the...
  7. 2.3L EcoBoost® I-4 Engine vs 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 Engine... not sure which one?

Excellent post from RagnarKan (as usual). But in the interest of giving different perspectives on engine choice, which I believe is the point of this thread, I chose the 2.7 (1) From personal experience, the GDI carbon buildup thing, Ford or others, is real and I don't like to deal with it...

  10. "Old School" Classic Bronco Looks [Photos Edition] -- post pics of your build!

I used to think that glueing classic bling on a new car was trying too hard. 'Inauthentic' is the biggest insult possible. Let old be old, new be new, love both. Then new becomes old, voila! you get classic for free. But some of this stuff looks genuinely awesome, so I retract. Thank you...

  13. What made you choose Bronco over Jeep Wrangler?

Humble opinion... no open top, no comparison
  14. What Should I Do? Raptor vs Heritage

Totally fair point, I have a base SAS 2.7 due to decent hardware at an insane low cost. Like less than half a Raptor. Is the 3.0 really that much better than the 2.7 for example? Now big budget types who want tank-like capability without creating a cascading waterfall of suspension and...
  15. What Should I Do? Raptor vs Heritage

choose hardware over an appearance package. far less regret
  16. What Mudflaps do you have installed?

Rokblokz on a BaseQuatch (front only, XL) was the first thing done when I got home from the dealer a year ago. Zero paint nicks, and removable without tools if a trail calls for it
