This was the first photo I took, maybe an hour after I drove off the lot. Cinder Cone in Flagstaff. Just looking at this pic makes me wanna go wheeling right now! Haha
I used polyfil in the rear Mabett 6” pods. Sounds great with bathe bigger speakers and fill. I also used polyfil when upgrading the dash speakers. Cheap, easy, and sound great. Like others have said, doesn’t sound tinny at all.
Like my old boss would say… “you want a happy wife? Give her an Audi and an allowance.”
but in all seriousness, I’d be livid too. I assume you escalated this to Ford customer service and they probably didn’t do much to help? I ended up switching to the soft top on my order because I had...
I’m just going to be logical about how much I tighten them down. Not full bore but enough to know it should hold a while. Then see how it goes over time.
Exactly, I’m not too worried about it. Always good practice to check bolts and all that after a while when installing something new. Thanks for the quick response!
I also need to tighten some of the screws after a few hundred miles. I have an impact drill I may use to really synch them down. See how that holds up compared to when they installed it. Might even try some loctite
Not sure about hoists but he did tell me they are working on possibly doing some type of rolling rack that would keep it high enough so you could partially park under it. And at a more reasonable price point than those rolling racks we already see on the market. What exactly that might look...
You are braver than I. Last thing I’d want on my new top is streaking or blemishes from my own doing. I’ll do regular washes and see how it goes. Much appreciated
I’m registered on the forum/website. Facebook doesn’t typically have a lot of ride coordination either. Maybe it’s just time for me to start posting any weekends I can go and see if anybody wants to join.
Nice, looks like a cool trail!! I always have a hard time finding SoCal Broncos trail rides. The group rides seem far fewer than the group I was in when living in CO.
I put my seats down and it fits just fine. I put a couple towels down just for good measure. I checked to see if it would fit in the soft top window storage bag that Mabett makes, but the bag isn’t wide enough. Turn or somebody else needs to get on a storage solution asap!
I agree about the black hardtop, it looks great. I wasn’t much a fan of MIC on Cactus Gray, not to say MIC is a bad color. The black top will look awesome on your white Bronco.
I haven’t driven it terribly far, side streets around town, some highway driving. I still can’t get over the...
