Haha, the amount of times I've had to get back in and make sure the red "brake" light is on in the dash.... same for whether or not I've left it in gear.
Just threw mine on today as well. Seems to be made quite well - it's a 3d printed type cap. I love how it fits over the lip of the filler and doesn't mess with any of the flaps and seals.
American made & veteran owned/operated company. Money well spent, for peace of mind if anything.
20k miles on mine. I rotated my tires a few weeks back the pads appeared to still have about 75% to 80% life still. Brake fluid level hasn't dropped significantly either, which backs that estimate up.
Saw this post too. Absolutely crazy. Does anyone know if the "basic" keyfob without remote start or proximity unlock still constantly emits signal? Or is it only when the lock/unlock button is pressed?
Looks absolutely great! TOR is a stone's throw away from where I'm at, and I'm highly considering one + the half rack once the 2 door version rolls out.
My bronco doesn't have the proximity key, so I don't get noises as I walk close to it. But once I open the driver's door or push in the clutch, I get the robotic wastegate sound along with the fans in the headlights spooling up. It's my sign that she's ready to rock haha.
What's your resting...
approx 20k miles in and no major issues on my end. the only thing I can remotely think of is the coolant needing to be topped off a bit more than I'm used to, but runs strong.
Glad you're ok! I had a near identical rear end collision and my spare carrier, recovery hook & tailgate were kinked. Also, the rear edge of the cargo floor where the spare tire tool tub was pushed in a bit. Definitely have a good look around that area. Be sure to pull the rear sill trim to look...
Was riding in a friend's forester while climbing a rutted hill. It was frustrating waiting for the CVT/AWD system try to figure out which wheel to send the power to. Not to mention the throttle cuts Subaru implemented to not fry the CVT. My bronco made it up the same hill in 2HI and rear locker...
Exactly my thoughts. I'd check the drain trough that runs across the top windshield frame. Possibly the adhesive that they applied plugged a good amount of the drain holes?
285/70/17 BFG KO2s on my stock big bend wheels, zero rub on even full articulation. Highly recommend, completely changes the look with zero downside, other than a 1-2 MPG penalty. I've had nothing but great experiences at Discount Tire (America's Tire in some areas). Will be sizing up to 75's...
Agreed with above. Even when cruising, I rarely go into 6th gear (especially after going with 33s) unless I'm pushing 75mph or higher. I'd rather be at 0-3PSI at 2,800 RPM than 5-10PSI at 2,000 RPM.
Wow interesting to see. I have a non-notched top and haven't had to add any extra seals, other than the usual corner sections. Wind noise is similar, if not equal, to what the MIC top was.
Would you happen to have a hardtop? My hardtop had some adhesive in the seams which smelled uncannily similar to hot clutch/brakes lol. Drove me crazy.
When I installed my sunrider, I noticed that it miraculously went away. Still comes every now and then on a warm day from my rear shell...
100% agreed on this philosophy. The less complexity, the better.
OP, I hope all the glitches get addressed. It's an amazing rig! I'm almost 20k miles in, and still brings a grin to my face every day.
