Thanks for the reply! That is disappointing, but what I expected to hear. Im surprised so many people have been recommending it with non-battery powered dashcams like the Gamin Mini 2. Looks like I'm hard wiring this weekend.
I purchased the Dongar adapter that so many here have recommended and and am using it with the B4K dash cam.

I live in the Sierras and I cant believe the amount of bad advice here. Chains are absolutely more important then 4x4/AWD in certain conditions. Its true, chains are of minimal use when there is deep/loose snow on the ground. Chains are critical when there is snow on top of ice. 4x4 does not...
Anyone having parking sensor issues? I cannot get mine to stop sending false alerts after connecting everything up.
Originally I installed the sensor wire extenders with the connectors inside the bumper since the OEM wiring harness is too short to allow me to feed the OEM connector through the...
I run the mount with a Warn EVO 10K on a Badlands Lux. One note, my parking sensors are still screwed up and cant figure out how to get them from sending false alarms...constantly. The securing clips provided by RC dont work with the WARN so I had to just zip tie the retainers for the sensors...
Does anyone else think this neighborhood looks CGI? I cant tell if its that immaculate, interesting photography choices, or what, but it is very uncanny valley.
2Dr BL SAS - No Rack, No Lights. I live at the base of the Sierra Mountains and when I drive into or away from the wind, the noise is not too bad. Its certainly no sedan or enclosed vehicle but for a convertible its within normal ranges. When I drive across the wind and get the strong cross...
Cant wait until we get something like this for the 6G: https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/Fiberglass_Door_Inserts_1pc/Bronco_Door_Insert
Hopefully without the external screws/drilling.
The ASFIR offering looks great and would be my first choice but I cant justify that price + international freight shipping. It's more then an entire winch bumper in cost from multiple suppliers.
In case you prefer to run your wires through the passenger side I used the rubber pass through on the passenger side below/behind the coolant reservoir (it has a mate on the driver side next to the passthrough you referenced). I had to use some tin snips to cut the end off the nipple (a bit...
I was looking for a cheap air compressor with a 100% duty cycle and not particularly concerned about how long a fillup would take and got a great deal on a Viair 450C compressor. I didnt want to spend $250+ on a bracket for a $180 (to me) compressor and it took some figuring to decide on how I...
