  1. Vibration when A/C is on

I noticed the last few times that Iā€™ve driven mine with Max A/C on that the idle was rough, too! I told my husband to take the Bronco to work yesterday to see if he could replicate and he said he noticed it when he was stopped at a light. I donā€™t know if itā€™s worth noting that Iā€™ve only noticed...
  2. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

I did talk about Bronco6g and what you guys have done with data collection/infoā€¦it didnā€™t make it to the final cut. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø
  3. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

Same! Iā€™ve never had a vehicle with ASS (I feel really weird writing thisā€¦lol), and Iā€™m programmed to hit the button every time I drive (my husband hasnā€™t been programmed to do this yet šŸ˜›). This is $100 well spent! Thanks!
  4. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

If it flies, it spies!!! Lol. My kids got a kick out of it. The article is on their website and on their Facebook page. https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/local/2022/06/06/i-made-a-turn-and-it-just-died-without-warning-feds-investigate-ford-bronco-engine-failures/
  5. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

Just as an FYIā€¦I was interviewed by a reporter on WDIV Channel 4 in Detroit about my Bronco. It was a short segment but at least news are covering the investigation. I wore my ā€œBirds Arenā€™t Real Shirt,ā€ too. Gotta represent.
  6. NHTSA Opens Investigation Into Bronco 2.7L V6 Over Catastrophic Engine Failures

Sorry I struck a nerve in you, I was legitimately curious if you had read a direct communication from Ford regarding the supplier issue. And no, I didnā€™t do a personal tear down but my tech ran a scope and documented the findings on Reddit. I think you might be confusing ā€œrecallā€ and...
  7. NHTSA Opens Investigation Into Bronco 2.7L V6 Over Catastrophic Engine Failures

Youā€™ve read an official communication from Ford stating that the failed valves are from substandard parts from a supplier?? Not trying to be snarky, but Iā€™ve been obsessed with researching this issue since it happened to me in September 2021. I havenā€™t come across any official notification from...
  8. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

Works for ā€œFord Program Managementā€?? Righhhhht.
  9. RAV Process -

I started the process at the beginning of November, and completed the process beginning of December. I chose cash and keep, as I already had my Bronco back with a new 2.7L.
  10. RAV Process -

I went through the RAV process for my Badlands that technically met the Lemon law guidelines (out of service for more than 50 days) in Michigan. The RAV rep that was assigned to me outlined the options available: 1. Repurchase: Vehicle is bought back, you get your down payment/monthly payments...
  11. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

This is my Bronco, itā€™s included in the post.
  12. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

Ughhhhhhhhhh, this just triggered me. I have almost 2,000 miles on my new 2.7L, the first one dropped around 2,400 miles.
  13. Drivetrain Failure in Bronco Badlands 2.3 Back with new engine after 4 months

Well ainā€™t that some crap?! Ughh. Iā€™m sorry youā€™re going through all this B.S. Are you able to switch to a different dealer or is it a strict process through RAV where you need to go through the dealer you purchased original vehicle?
  14. Drivetrain Failure in Bronco Badlands 2.3 Back with new engine after 4 months

I didnā€™t think that the GM of a dealership has any sway when it comes to a buyback offer through Ford. Did you go through the Ford RAV process? I just got an email today that my repurchase/replacement has been approved on my Bronco (which I picked up last Friday after being in service for 50...
  15. 2.7L Issue

Yep, sorry. I realized that when I compared the 6006 to 6007. Where am I gonna find this serial # without climbing in?! I'm 100% sure this is the serial number that the tech used to decode production date to the 125th day of 2021, though.
  16. 2.7L Issue

šŸ˜¬ I didn't get the new 2.7L sequence number from him, but I'll get it.
  17. 2.7L Issue

I picked up my Bronco last night. I spent quite a bit of time talking to the tech that put the new 2.7 in. The new 2.7 engine has a serial number that corresponds to the 125th day of 2021 (May 5, 2021), the old engine had a production date 160th day of 2021 (June 9, 2021). He had mentioned that...
  18. 2.7L Issue

Dealer told me it was a dropped valve, but was told by Ford not to tear down the engine. I asked this morning if they had heard from Ford yet, as they told me that they shipped the engine back a few weeks ago. Service Advisor told me that Ford hasn't picked up the engine yet..... Anyway, I asked...
  19. 2.7L Issue

Thanks for your response! That sucks that your dealer has washed their hands of your Bronco. I just got the call this morning from the dealer that my Bronco has been "fixed," but there is a part they are still waiting on (it's a trim piece on the A pillar that was warped). I can pick it up...
