  1. Found this little Warthog nugget in the Bronco Raptor today

I don’t think Ford wants ANY V8’s in their truck lineup if we’re being honest. I’m afraid before long the throaty growl of the V8 will go the way of the triangular vent window and the floor dimmer.
  2. Found this little Warthog nugget in the Bronco Raptor today

And made in my hometown of Dyersburg, TN. At risk of hijacking the thread, check out this video of the Boss Hoss:
  3. Found this little Warthog nugget in the Bronco Raptor today

I liken the “Raptor” name to Dodge’s R/T. It is a designation which, up to this point, signifies top level performance (off-road for the Raptor, rather than on-road for R/T). Now, there are R/T Dodge Darts and crossover SUV’s, so dilution has already happened with that badge. But why would we...

And I’ll add—my shackles are under the seat.
  5. T

you and my wife are the only humans I’ve heard of who don’t listen to music in the car. Driving + music is one of the most enjoyable experiences in my life. Y’all are weird.
  6. Let’s see those Beach pics!

Got in the loose sand and used the sand mode. Definitely useful—locked the rear and put it in 4h.
  7. Let’s see those Beach pics!

    Crystal Beach Galveston. Lovin’ it!
  8. Factory subwoofer mystery.

is there something I can search for to help me “get familiar” with the search function lol? It’s the clunkiest thing I’ve ever used and it takes hours it seems to find anything useful in the results.
  9. Best 35" Street Tire: But MT Look, terraincontact?

I was going to say the same. You can get 60,000+ out of Toyo ATIII’s and they are quiet, good-looking tires. BTW—Toyo makes Nitto, right?
  10. Anyone putting doors on/off all the time? - tips for no paint chips?

I take my doors off regularly—maybe 2-3 times a month from April-September since 2021. I don’t use the bumpers, but haven’t done any damage until just this week. I got rushed and was working in dusky light. I’ve found that if you go slowly and make sure to seat the bottom hinge in the...
  11. Feedback on towing 21ft bunkhouse

Appreciate the sentiment. I’m not a novice when it comes to pulling campers. I’ve towed travel trailers and driven Class A/C RV’s all over the country. I know I have seen people pulling this layout camper on here. I was just curious about feedback.
  12. Feedback on towing 21ft bunkhouse

I was wondering if anyone has any feedback from towing a 21ft bunkhouse camper. Dry wright 3,000 or so. There are several brands with the same layout—the Jayco SLx7 is just one I’m looking at renting. I’m remodeling a Casita and turning it into an off-road capable camper, but need something for...

Stop this. I spend wwwaaayyy too much time on BAT as it is...
  14. Rough Country Soundbars - Anyone try?

But how willing are most dealers to flash your system? When I followed most of these threads early in the process, most were unwilling for anything but a Ford-sanctioned product.
  15. KMC 550 riot SBL anthracite Fitment

I have run plastic rings and had good luck with them. And I agree with the previous poster…though not required, I have run with and without rings and rings on non-hub-centric wheels make a huge difference in ride quality at moderate speeds.
  16. Tailgate strut - is there a way to make it perform better or replace it?

Mine’s already been replaced under warranty. Now, I can’t remember if it lost resistance or if one of the connections broke and it wouldn’t stay attached on one end. Either way, I rode around with no piston on there for a week or so. Trust me, having some resistance is better than the heavy...
  17. Rough Country Soundbars - Anyone try?

According to the instructions linked here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/roughcountry/install/921511080.pdf it connects to the rear speaker harnesses. So it’s not getting full signal without a flash or forscan.
  18. First significant experience towing ~3000 lbs w/ Bronco 2.7, 4.27 Big Bend 4-dr

On the first trailer, yes, yes, and probably. On the second, we'll, it's the in-laws, so probably not, maybe and doubt it lol. Dm'd the VIN.
  19. First significant experience towing ~3000 lbs w/ Bronco 2.7, 4.27 Big Bend 4-dr

Either you are joking or aren't a part of the exclusive and honored society that is RV owners lol. A "toad" is slang for a vehicle that is flat-towed (all four wheels on the ground) by an RV.
