  1. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

Been waiting to purchase a manual Bronco. Hoping Ford comes up with a fix for 2024 models. Subscribed to this thread—
  2. AZURE GRAY METALLIC Bronco Club

I think it looks much more grey than A51. Looks good IMO.
  3. Drove 2.3AT - trying to forecast to manual - for an enthusiast driver

Sweet, that is pretty rare, let us know what you think!
  4. Drove 2.3AT - trying to forecast to manual - for an enthusiast driver

I did not notice any problems with the brakes, but the vehicle I drove was not a Sasquatch. Is there going to be a manual 2.7? I did not know that was a possibility -
  5. Drove 2.3AT - trying to forecast to manual - for an enthusiast driver

I predict many manual buyers are like me - feel strongly about steering feel, chassis, fun, sound, manual interaction/connection and will tend to be enthusiasts that like a variety of vehicles. I had an extended test drive where the dealer loaned me the car for an afternoon and I came away very...
  6. Good POV Impressions Video on the Bronco Manual 7MT and Crawler Gear

I was hoping the Gearbox would feel like my old Focus RS. Also, I subscribe to this reviewer on YouTube and he really liked the Wrangler manual and when he says the Bronco gearbox was better and was heel/toeing it had me wanting the manual Bronco after sort of being on the fence for a bit. I...
  7. Toyota publishes "All you need to know" 4Runner vs Bronco comparison video

I own a 5th-gen 4runner. Pros - Hydraulic steering, NA engine that with an exhaust can sound great, feels very roomy in the interior cabin for an off-roader, still feels analogue and old school, not too much tech (yet). Can add a Supercharger. Cons - No manual transmission on offer.
  8. Good POV Impressions Video on the Bronco Manual 7MT and Crawler Gear

This is the best video to date (IMO) that details the manual 6MT with Crawler Gear. FWIW - I think he does a very good job describing the character of various manual transmissions in different types of cars/trucks. I am still not sure whether to get a Badlands with 33's or Big Bend with...
  9. Manual Transmission 2.3L which is best? Badlands or Big Bend with Sasquatch

I am 1000% only considering the manual and my initial order was for the Badlands with the regular 33" tires (non sasquatch) 4 Door Model. Since the weights have been published, I was considering changing my build to a Big Bend with Sasquatch package due to the Black Diamond weighing ~ 500lbs...
  10. Road Reviews: When do you expect them?

I just want a review of the manual. I am a little worried turbo motor and EPS steering will take away from the experience for me, because I am a 70 year old trapped in a 40 year old body when it comes to cars/trucks. But, a manual Bronco is very exciting to me, it is as appealing to me as an...
  11. Measured: 2021 Bronco Manual Transmission Shifter Throw Length

Great clip thanks!! That looks perfect to me, just slightly longer than a hot-hatch, still giving it a slight truck feel. I have driven and owned so many manuals - my preference is that they are all a bit different (currently own 3 manual vehicles) that uniqueness of a particular vehicles'...
  12. đź“· Factory: 2-Door Fastback Top Broncos + Warthog 37" BFG KO2 Tires

My exact thoughts, I want the most lightweight 4door that offers a manual transmission, just an upgrade of the tires and I am set.
  13. (4-door) 2.3L 7MT Badlands weighs 478lbs more than 2.3L 7MT Big Bend

Thanks for response, I don’t think I need all the equipment on the BL Listed above. My prference is to save some weight and go with a Big Bend. I think day to day it will suit my needs. Does anyone know how much weight is added for modular front bumper and locking rear diff?
  14. Bronco at highway speeds?

It will feel like a truck. I have Golf R like you and a 4Runner TRD Pro and the 4runner feels like a truck. It is great in a straight line, you sit up high all is good, but on twisty roads it feels heavy, sluggish, slow to brake a little unstable due to off-road suspension, tires, &...
  15. Badlands Manual - Standard, Mid, or High Package?

Just to counterpoint slightly..... I daily a Golf R and first thing I do is disable the ACC. It has stopped my car when driving out of a parking lot due to detection of the road as a possible collision point (coming out of a dip at low speed.) I was then stopped completely by the car as a...
  16. Anyone told their dealer they’re waiting for MY22?

I just emailed my dealer that I want to wait. I want to see one in the flesh to see what colors and options are best. They did place an order, so not sure if I will need to make a new reservation, but I was really struggling with options and color. I think seeing various builds in person...
  17. (4-door) 2.3L 7MT Badlands weighs 478lbs more than 2.3L 7MT Big Bend

Thanks for all the great replies. I told my dealer I want to see and hopefully drive one due to indecision on model and options. Moving to MY22 to hopefully figure out my build. (y)
  18. Badlands Manual - Standard, Mid, or High Package?

I struggled with this, but I had chosen mid for heated seats and being able to open the door without hitting the button. I felt pretty soft for hitting that option, but I go skiing alot and trying to find keys in gear can be a pain. TBH - If there was base 4door manual with no options I would...
  19. (4-door) 2.3L 7MT Badlands weighs 478lbs more than 2.3L 7MT Big Bend

That is a good amount of added weight for the same powertrain and transmission. As a manual transmission fan, like many, I come from sporty cars and (weight is the enemy), help me understand why it is OK to add ~ 500lbs to the same powertrain/transmission? I might be completely misguided in...
