This looks good. I'm interested to hear more about this setup. Are these still 17" wheels? offset? It doesn't look like a lift; are they just stuffed under the stock suspension? Rubbing?
What gearing is your rear end and any observations on low end with the 37s? Is it Sas or MT (4.7)...
Badlands Sasquatch not great on road trips? To better understand your perspective, what are the things you love or like about the rig? Do the capabilities matter at all?
Let's say the difference between 18.5 mpg and 13.5 nets you -2000 gallons of fuel over 100,000 miles. And if you pay around...
I would drive to NJ for a lightly used hard top. I can't dm you as you are restricted. DM me if you want to move it and the prior responses don't work out.
Sorry so late to this conversation. I have ridden dirtbikes a lot in Freetown. There are a lot of single-track trails. And there are a fair amount of dirt and rock roads that are maintained. It's kind of weird in there because there are ATVs, dirt bikes, horses and trucks. There are rules...
I need some narrative to go with this picture. What am I looking at? It looks like UCAs and spacers. What is that black metal stuff in the back left? Does this go along with some new coilovers? Is this going to be a lift and how much height?
I was able to get out of this situation on the trail.
This happened to me yesterday. When I shifted into 4L, I think something happened in the front-end that didn't engage. I write this because the back tires were spinning and the fronts were not. I suspect that whatever this issue was...
Great build journal. I just read through the whole thread. The audio system stuff inspired me. I'm going to get that going.
One thing I would warn you about is storing stuff in that little compartment in the floor of the rear area. If you ever end up getting rain in the car, that cubby...
the warthogs come in 0 or -18 offset for 17". Unless you want a massive amount of poke, that's too much. You probably want to be somewhere around +30 to +12 offset for your eventual 35s.
the bandoliers do look very cool, if you could find your bolt pattern and offset.
You can download the as-built files through motorcraft. Flash that file onto your rig and you are back at factory.
Dig around in the forums on this site. It's all in there.
This whole thread has been exactly right. Except the 30mm offset being a total solution. That depends on the tire width (not the 35" height). If you have really wide tires, you might need wider wheels, and a little more offset.
For reference, I have 13.5" wide tires and I needed a little...
