To close it I just let it slam shut since it clears all the skins. The latch levers actually barely hit the top (after latching) so there’s a clunk when dropping it shut. To open there’s enough space to get fingers in there to unlatch.

Flat, straight edges/corners. Seemed like just simple stamped acrylic or whatever it is. It'll work just fine I just get OCD with this type of stuff sometimes. Call them. YMMV

@SDBronco6 which shops have you gotten quotes from if you don't mind sharing.? I've been shopping around too and hearing 5-6k+ for full body for 8 mil xpel. about 20% more for 10 mil. Have talked to auto armour, sun diego, ceramic pro (kavaca), SD auto glass/tint, & sd auto salon.

That's a bummer but good to get something like that out of the way early I guess
