Does anyone offer something like this that allows for adjustment *horizontally*?
Turn version looks vertical only, although maybe enough metal there to drill new holes.
Want to push spare ~ 1-1/2" to the left. Looks like enough room to still clear bumper and 3rd brake light would get moved...
I've had the spare off for some time. Other posts have me thinking either someone ran into it or someone very inebriated (Vegas) decided to have some fun...
@flip should I fear the worst- looks like this is north of $800-900/can't be ordered without at least some of the camera guts and 3rd...
Finally getting around to installing braptor hinges and hammer built reinforcement and i find this.
I've mounted nothing but the (heaviest) OEM sasquatch wheel and tire, to-date.
Searching "crack spare" ( or "spare crack" 🤷♂️) yields zero results on this.
No one else has seen fatigue here yet?

Planning trunk line and whips for onboard air-up and found these for less than $15 - going to convert most of my tools too:

"It's fun" to be able to overtake idiot drivers where I live with more room for safety and helpful to get back out of the passing lane faster for courtesy
This is on pavement of course, where OP is gathering data, and where 95% or more of my driving occurs. I don't have the garage or budget for...
Shouldn't have been, but it is
I was trying to forget about this until my next oil change but I'm now re-inspired
The plates do overlap in a way that allows skidding with minimal edges to hang up, but not in straightforward "ship lap" manner
See markups. The "Front Diff UVP" (positioned below...
That's aluminum tho(?) Can such rivets be done in steel?
I'd be wary of simple pop rivets for such a use (ie shearing off and access plate getting wadded up into plastic oil pan) but those look stout...just don't recognize process/tooling
No idea.
If they did update and added an insert please take a pic and share! That's what I'm going to have to retro I think with cutoff wheel, some flat bar, flat head screws and a little welding 🙄
Call ford performance, tell them where you are and ask them for a dealer that has a clue as far as installing their stuff.
I had to go to 3 in Vegas- Gaudin flat out admitted they didn't know how to do it. I think it was Ford Country or Team that told me it would void my warranty (with a big...
Harder to gauge/wasn't looking for that before I modified. Lag surely seems minimal, but there's always going to be some spooling/never going to be eliminated.
Drive your truck to Vegas and we can take it to the drag strip to compare?
Auto 2.7 here. Noticeable power gain. If there is better $/hp out there idk what it is. I also later did larger intercooler and the seat of my pants swear that also gave noticeable gain combined with tune. I will probably keep throwing dumb money at the more is more concept. Having a vehicle...
Just finished 2in spring lift and 37s on my SAS 2dr. To me, it now looks as it should have from the factory
New wheels -10lbs and tires still load C, so weight is the ~same. On road manners not far from OEM 35. Rebound stiffer but not by much and I think that will improve with time. 6112 will...
Ought to, but that's 500lbs 'bouncing' up and down on it, with 3,500lbs being pulled thru it, at whatever speed they rate vehicles at, with some factor of safety against permanent deformation.
I just want to try to lift from there, with a very gradual application of force...still not saying...
Anyone try jacking up entire rear end (2 or 4dr) under/from the hitch receiver yet?
The tinfoil crossmember and 3,500lb pull/500lb tongue make me think no way but those are of course dynamic ratings and it would be real handy for me if it didn't tweak anything...
This is incorrect.
I called Eibach today to get clarity since the terms 'modification' and 'reuse' on the same page seemed ambiguous along with other generic info (ex. the profile drawn doesn't look like the SAS bumps at all)
Not to mention adding more layers of steel and air to my coilover...
