Pretty sure I have the same issue. Definitely some slack in the drive line that takes off with a bit of a thud. 37k of fairly hard miles in sport mode. I’ll assume drive shaft for now and keep an eye on it.
I haven’t looked but I’ll assume this is a sealed CV unit? I was able up grade my 5.7 GC...
We are going to be meeting at the Upper Ranch entrance about 10/1030 on Sunday. I’ve got extra radios and air for those who need it. We’ll be on GMRS ch7. Should be a pretty chill run, nice thing about Hollister is there’s not a lot of required obstacle but they are available if your feeling it.
No, it has backing material to prevent scratches.
Also, keep in mind that a lot of the spare tire mounts may not work due to clearance between door and tire when used with Sasquatch or aftermarket wheels with offset. That is why I went this route.
Amazon. Clamps on rear door, works great for vhf and uhf.

Installed the Mambett sill protectors I got in the mail today. May interfere with the door seal just a bit. Probably not an issue in my climate but could cause issues for some. Otherwise they look and fit great. Cant complain for the money. My sills were getting tore up.
Figured it out and ordered placed. This was an item I requested when you were looking for ideas. Im glad I held off purchasing another option, these look great!
Good coverage all the way around. All the controls lineup nicely and some trim actually talk around the holes. There’s also a cut out with a flat for the airbags.
Same issue here. Got down to a chilly Cali 50 and my bare legs where chilly after mountain biking and I couldn’t get much for heat down below. Hope there is an easy fix.
Question about the noise level between the Bestop and factory soft top. Clearly the bestop is way better looking but is it louder or quieter then the factory top
Yes your rear end looks quite a bit different than mine. I do like the looks and functionality of that location, I may have to trim off a few more inches on my highlift to make it fit but I will consider something like you’ve got going.
