So I have a hardtop and use a cable lock connected to a V-Line handgun safe. I stash it under my drivers seat. But it can "slip out" from under my seat from time to time. If you have the top open and/or the doors off, this probably won't work for you...
I have the 2.3L because I wanted the manual and that was the only engine choice.
I have towed boats at altitude (5000 feet in Ennis, MT) and have not had issues with "not enough" power. I do have to downshift from 6th gear to 5th or even 4th when going up steeper highway grades but can keep...
They have to have some sort of window drop because of the frameless doors and the need for a rubber "lip" on the top of the door to keep the wind and rain out at speed.
So my issue persisted across restarts, but I finally found the solution and that was to manually re-index the window as described earlier in this thread.
It has happened twice in the last month or so and the manual re-indexing solved the problem immediately. Just another one of those things...
This is good to know. I have many droplets in my rear lights after a rainstorm. I will take this in when we get the next big deluge and the droplets show up again.
I agree with your first point. Once someone buys a car without any special agreements in place, the buyer can sell it the next day if they want for whatever they can sell it for and Forcan’t stop it.
But I don’t believe your second point is true. Unless you are a protected class, no business...
that is a fair point. But there is a warranty that should be to an identifiable individual. Ford corporate finds me for a recall notice. But still another layer to traverse that Tesla does not have to deal with.
I agree, You can sell whatever you want. I just like that automakers (in this case Tesla) is using their data to limit that to one time. Then you’re out!
I remember Ferrari or Lamborghini did that too a few years ago to stop the flipping.
my wife works in an industry that has very desirable products with very limited production, and the lies and games that “customers” do to get those products is next-level ingenious.
But they don’t realize what...
I am not denying the right of someone to sell something they own. Go for it.
But in the case of Tesla, I also applaud them cancelling all future reservations for identified flippers and blackballing them from buying other Tesla vehicles.
there is capitalism, and then there is Ticketmaster...
FYI, I have no issue with people who want to have multiple Broncos in their stable. But certain folks that bragged about flipping their Broncos for $10k more than they paid, AND they have another Bronco on the way is just BS.
I don’t think Tesla can or should sue flippers, but banning them from...
