I just passed 1000 miles in my 4dr Manual Badlands and have not had this happen. Try turning the auto stop/start off - that definitely helped eliminate some of the “clunkiness” I was experiencing early on getting a feel for the stick.

After reading this thread I’ve been really paying attention to the smoothness of shifting between gears. Turning the auto stop start off made a world of difference for me. The minor start delay was making first gear feel really clunky. Feels much more natural with it off.

Tried to obtain the rail car number from dealer, but they only provided me with a generic update.
