Then you should say that Ford participated in generally available Federal subsidies of the auto industry and companies in general, which is what those facilities were. Almost every sizable company in the US, sadly enough, has participated in such facilities, whether offered by the Fed, Treasury...
Not sure what you're referring to, but if you mean the bailouts in the wake of 2008, this is not correct. Obama bailed out GM and Obama also bailed out Chrysler, but Ford did not accept any bailout support or money from the federal government. Ford was not bailed out.
I find this odd. Way before the new Bronco, rock crawl people knew there was a difference between what you could do in a Jeep Wrangler, even heavily modded, and something like a Razr or a Polaris. And never the twain shall meet. You knew some trails were only for the purpose-built specialty...
Yes, having this issue with a 2 door First Edition. Happens both driver and passenger sides, though not always at the same time. Window goes up to close, then "bounces back" and returns to half open position. Always the same half open position. Happens like 40 to 50% of the time you go to close...
Yeah, the car game in California sucks. It's not great anywhere, but its particularly bad there. You just have to be willing to walk out if you don't get what you want. I went through this on my first attempt to buy a Gladiator, back when they were a bit of a hot item (though never the phenom of...
Well, that's one way of looking at it. Were this litigated, no doubt the dealer would take the position that the order summary was not an offer. It did not contain all the material terms of the deal, they would say, and it was meant only be informational, not an offer that was capable of...
And it seems like its more than just a few! I can't believe this is still going on.
I hope this little ditty can at least bring a little smile to your face while the agony continues.
Best wishes
Hey watch out you're getting dangerously close to banned political talk there!
You look at Ford and you see this weird dichotomy: on the one hand, preaching about an all-EV future. On the other hand, doubling down on the biggest gas guzzlers possible, going ever higher in the HP wars and...
I mean, this can't be a huge surprise. That's right in the range you'd expect for a Gladiator (14 to 14.5 mpg). I'm getting 17-18 with my First Edition (35 tires and the 2.7). Not enough of a delta to make that big of a difference. But for me its more about the acquisition price given what you...
Put the ADM in context for me. If you wait and take the one you ordered, will you get it for sticker? Or is that uncertain?
If you are sure you will get it for MSRP, I wouldn't pay the ADM on another Bronco to get it sooner. Can you tell them you'll take it but without the ADM?
If they won't...
I agree that Ford has not handled this adroitly, to put it mildly. It's a shame that this and the supply chain stuff destroyed one of their most important product launches in decades, because that's pretty much the sad fact.
I don't think its necessarily true that they've intentionally misled...
I have no complaint about the way private sellers price their products. Because I have a remedy: I don't buy if it's too expensive! And, if lots of people don't buy, that product will go away and something priced better will appear, if that is possible.
If people are really angry about the cost...

I think its fair for folks to delete their bad reviews. After all, we want to encourage dealers to get to MSRP, as this one did. So if they play ball, so should we. Wish we didn't have to do this in the first place though, but if we treat the ones...
