I have for my rockslide steps, I had to add a 5 pole relay to the mix because it needed to be normally closed, and the built-in relays are normally open only, so I have the relay controlled by the switch controlling a relay wired up as normally closed that replaces the override switch.
Did the log splitter have functional lights hooked up? The electrical load from the trailer lights is how the truck knows it has a trailer and ignores the back sensors and whatnot
There are wheel speed sensors, but I suspect the output is just a digital blip mulitple times a revolution, and one of the computers along the way does the math on how many blips per second and what the tire circumference is to sort out the speed of the vehicle
FWIW Forscan has fields for both the axle gear ratio and tire circumference. IME though the tire circumference math is a little wonky, the numbers ford uses seem quite low, but the speedo jives well with the gps
About 50 miles on 4 of them and nothing on the spare, 285/70R17 BF Goodrich T/A KO2s includes the TMPS sensors and lug nuts. I'm willing to deliver in the Springfield/Ozark/Nixa area.
