I quick flash on coming vehicles if there is an obstacle in or on the side of the road.
Such as a deer.
I did it to a cop once and he hit is lights until he saw the deer.
He than shut them off and kept going.
You do realize a Mack truck will fail the NHTSA front impact test right?
So if you hit a 10' thick concrete wall at 35 mph the Nissan would save your life, the Mack Truck maybe not.
But if the Nissan hits a Mack Truck head on at 35 mph, well which would you rather be in?
Or if you hit a deer at...
Here is how idiotic the government is.
A gallon of Diesel gives off just under 2% more CO2 when burned than a gallon of gasoline.
Diesel fuel produces 11% more BTU's per gallon which results in 10% better fuel economy based on BTU output ( my experience shows more like 15% decrease in fuel...
What a terrible experience. I'm glad you are OK.
I have a lifetime canceled weapons permit in Indiana, not that you need it anymore, I've never carried in the vehicle.
I have an American Flag tire cover.
I think I'll carry my pistol in my Bronco from now on.
When I was 17 the town park flooded due to the Tippecanoe river going over it's banks.
The park has a horse shoe paved roadway about a mile long.
The water was 3'-4' deep.
I had a 1968 F100 with a 390 and exhaust stacks but no intake mods.
Keep a slow steady speed, no stopping and I made it a...
The problem is China burns Cheap coal to produce the electrical energy to power their EV's.
China has one thing in mind and it isn't protecting the planet.
I'm sure US innovation will come up with green energy solution.
We will have to.
No body touches my Bronco but me.
I do almost all of my maintenance and service.
Just changed a Turbo on my F350.
Sooo the water pump went out on my wifes Explorer. It's internal to the engine and a @#$% to replace.
I said to hell with it and brought it in to Ford.
As long as they had it all...
I purchased a set of Delta lights 2 amber, 2 flood. I liked the look.
I immediately changed the Amber Fog bulbs to 5000 lumen Each Novsite LED's (street legal).
And 10,000 LED's lumens per bulb for the flood. (not street legal)
There are ways to get the look and results you want.
I have the same set up with Ford mud flaps front and rear.
Go Rhino running boards still catch some snow and mud but it helped a bunch.
I have not had any issues with slipping on the running boards getting in or out.
Rodent poison will kill them but they are already in the vehicle.
I use Moth Balls. Put one in the cabin and one in the engine compartment.
I farmed for 35 years and it did keep the mice out.
I did have a squirrel chew up some wires on my plow truck diesel.
Transmission wires and insulation...
I wasn't done yet when I took that picture.
All wires are soldered and covered with heat shrink. And I use some 2" Loom to cover the whole front where the fog light mounting brackets are.
Nice catch.
The Aries Guard bolts to the bumper mounting brackets for the plastic bumper.
You do have to grind some of the plastic spacer to make it fit.
It is a very sturdy guard.
Much sturdier than any guard that bolts to the top of your bumper. Including the OEM junk.
You have the capable bumper and I...
Base 2.7, 3.73, 33" tires.
Drove to work this AM in 8" of snow. Used slippery mode cruised at 45 mph, the tach said 1200 rpm.
I had plenty of torque.
I get 23 mpg average in summer.
If they would have offered the 3.73 with a locker, like they do on the F150's, I would have gotten the option...
