Don’t freak out yet. Ford will release a 2023 Warthog with 10R80 and $10-15k over the First Edition price tag to satisfy the “promise”.
nothing official, just IMO - ready to bet a beer on that :)
The whole front end is a big f.. mess! Looks like they were trying to be “the best in class approach angle” as the result ugly front license plate mount, winch mount is almost a last minute “fix” which blocks trail cam. Huge openings in the bumper invite gravel and dead wood hit adaptive cruise...
I cancelled both my reservations because no First Edition available in Canada (I reserved Badlands and Wildtrak in the first 10 minutes, so could get one or both FE and I'm okay with blue interior).
Waiting for Warthog now, so that's why I am still around.
I ordered my 2018 Expedition in 2017 - that was completely redesigned generation and none of the dealers had them at lots.
I had my VIN way before delivery and added it to a FordPass app, looks like somebody approved my request in Sync3 during prep, so I could manage it (check mileage, tire...
I guess if you pull central bezel trim you will find a while tape and CD slot behind it, which you can potentially enable through FORScan :) Some folks on Expedition forum with 2019 models were looking for 2018 trim pieces :)

Have B&O in my 2018 Expedition and can say it's pretty good, but lacks of bass on higher volume. Sound quality really depends on your source - if you play regular MP3...
For some people Bronco won’t be the only car. To carry old relatives we have minivans :)
I would order a roll cage from the factory if I could, just to make climbing to the back seat more miserable. I bet my 7- and 4-year old would love to climb to the back seat through the roof, like R Prototype.
Hi all,
I was doing some cleanup in my Expedition and noticed that the bottom side of the trunk floor cover looks the same as roof on the leaked pictures. Here are some pics from the leaked photos:
And here is the floor in my Expedition:
(I guess the same material might be in other...
I’m sure Ford will play dumb and reject any associations, but will be collecting 400% increase in media mentions/presents just because of that. Pretty smart move.
Don’t see a heated steering wheel button, hope they don’t use F-150 approach where you need to dig into touch screen menus to get there. Expedition has a physical button, why not take it?
Well... they claim to be "an independent enthusiast community" and "FOR ENTHUSIASTS | BY ENTHUSIASTS" - but it looks like an average marketing campaign, run by someone on a payroll, who screwed (at least) Canadian market :) Sure they will fix it in the next couple weeks one way or another :)
