How is it not simple and straightforward to schedule the remaining original/existing orders and inform customers?! Ford knows all details and has had them on hand for a long time. They know their capacity and part order/delivery schedule (one would hope). Get it done. Two-plus years of waiting...

It continues to be ridiculous and disappointing. OBX LUX SAS HT Tow etc reservation Aug 2020. Ordered Jan 2021. Rebooked Oct 2021. Ford has truly blown the halo effect of this vehicle.

My dealer told me yesterday that his allocation of 100 has been cut and that my res/order is one of those...but still cannot actually say it will be a 2022. A total FUBAR. I will likely buy something else for the coming winter. What a shame.

I sent Friday's Ford email to my dealer immediately asking for a translation. I got the reply this afternoon....delivery Q1 2022. Absolutely a bungled launch, and the email also disingenuously referred to having switched from dual top to MIC top...that was Ford's screw up, not mine, in March...

Wondering if there were many build date/VIN emails this week? Happy for you, staying patient here. The whole thread shows how the pivot to "bespoke" vehicles is likely super tough for the car industry, not just Ford, and not just because of the pandemic.

Thanks for both updates. They are encouraging. I had a great moment this morning when I saw a race red 4-door, soft top (of course) Bronco (manufacturer's plate) heading west on I-84 near Danbury, CT as I was driving east (that kept me from snapping a photo). The Bronco stood out so well!!!
