We bought these inexpensive Ford mudflats and took them to the dealership yesterday for installation. On a Black Diamond. They completely didn't fit. Returned them and now are looking for options.
On the subject of break-in, should we hold off on off-roading until after 1000 miles and/or until after the 1st oil change. Since off-roading (at least in my experience) often encourages some hooning behavior, would this make sense?
We just picked up our 4 door soft top two days ago. I've also been concerned about access to the back. Today, I noticed that there are clips on either side of the solid bar that secures the bottom of the rear window. If the rear window is removed, do these clips remove that bar?
We picked up our Black Diamond 4 door manual two days ago and all seems to be very well! Paint and panel gaps look excellent. We scoured the vehicle pre-delivery for all/most of the issues cited in this thread. None were present (or noticed). Clamps and hoses all tight under the hood. The only...
Got a message from the salesman that our Bronco is here. We'll go look it over tomorrow and drive it. Any suggestions regarding things to look/look out for? Known quality issues? Thanks!
I just checked Ebay and Autotrader and saw many many Broncos with 100 miles or so listing for 20K-30K+ over MSRP. Is this market real? Are sellers actually getting these prices? Thanks.

Thanks! Any recommendations on sources of the spacers? Also, I found the bore size of the 4Runner and Bronco wheels. It looks like I will also need the thickness? How do I find this?
Thanks, the info on bore size is extremely helpful. I'm on a site that makes the spacers and they offer two types: Hub and Lug Centric. Is one better than the other?
I just searched for the TRD wheel's lug pattern and came up with this:
For the fifth-generation Toyota 4Runner, the bolt pattern is: (5th Gen = 6×139.7mm(5.5″) or 6×5.5).
So maybe it will fit?
Hi All, I have a set of 4Runner TRD wheels with BFG K02 265/70 17 (load range E) tires (on my Tacoma). Will these fit on my upcoming Bronco Black Diamond?
The TRD wheel specs are:
17-in. x 7-in. cast aluminum wheel with 6 lug nut pattern
11-mm. with 4-mm. wheel offset widens the overall vehicle...
Is this the place to talk about (lack of) build info? I reserved on 7/14/20 and ordered on 3/11/21 and have heard nothing! 4 door hard top manual Black Diamond with no packages.
