Ford does not provide the dealer with any information other than what we see on the ordertrack.app. The only extra info the dealer can see is that mine is on "delay in plant" EDD is still 5/8 to 5/14. Until that date comes and the FORD kicks the can down the road yet again.
Just to vent a little I tried the FORD support chat. I knew they would have nothing, but what the hell. I got the now standard "waiting on shipment" answer. When I pressed her for more specific info she told me to contact my dealer. The dealer doesn't have any access to that information...
I had hoped to have it by now, I have a honeymoon trip planned in early June, That is my new goal. I have no faith that it will come in time. A real update would be nice. An update with a realistic delivery estimate would be good. Even if the update is another month of waiting.
I did the one in Pennsylvania last month, It was incredible. I was also impressed they had a Badlands stick for me to drive. The only difference to my order was it was a 4 door.
My EDD was also pushed out to 04/23-04/29. This joke isn't very funny anymore. I have worked in a FORD dealer service department since 1999. I have never seen a more poorly executed vehicle production and launch process. I won't cancel my order or jump ship, but it would be nice if FORD...
My EDD updated to 04/03/22, pizza tracker still shows in production. OASIS shows built 12/14/21 but not released. I am ready to throw in the towel. Delay after delay, disappointment after disappointment, I will hate this vehicle by the time it gets here.
Ford does not give the money to the dealer. The dealer has to spend their money, then submit to Ford co-op advertising to get reimbursed for the expense.
