I verified that it was the rear passenger side making the noise. I pulled the dust cover off and there was no visible damage or debris. I put the dust cover back on and had daylight all around and spun the rotor to listen for a grind and it was seemingly coming from the hub assembly. I bent the...
It got dark and I won't be able to get to it till next week. I am leaving town. Why wouldn't it do this noise in reverse? I did think about both of those things you said. The reverse thing threw me for a loop.
Hi Guys,
I have a 2023 Badlands 4 Door and it has about 500 miles on it. I am getting a super loud scraping noise from the right rear wheel. Hitting the brakes does not change the sound, increasing speed increases the noise. However, in reverse there is no noise... What could be going on here?
Built 11/23/22 and it shipped out 1/15/23 and now it's 2/10/23 and it has been sitting in a rail car in Chicago for 2+ weeks. No movement with 90 miles on the rig. I am in Montana.
I don't think that was the original intention. I remember them talking about 5.37 being an option a long time ago. Why bother providing the 4.7 as an option? I don't see the thinking. It doesn't even make sense from a marketing standpoint.
All they change is the gearset? I was told it was a bit beefier all the way around. I never researched part #'s. 5% is a HUGE difference in gearing. Ok, it's not. I am not sure why they even gave the option now.
4.7 only comes standard on the manual transmission badlands. As soon as you put an automatic transmission in it drops back down. You have to Sasquatch a Badlands automatic to get 4.7.
The gearing is higher in the non-sas. The Sas has a much taller gear set/more robust read end for crawling and tires over 35" tall. It also comes with larger tires and a slight height adjustment.
Yep. Mine was built 11/23 and It was supposed to be delivered in December. Now they say Mid-January. I am going to guess it's actually going to be March.
