We drove home from skiing in CO across KS in 0 degree temps with wind chills in the -15 to -25 range. Wind speeds (cross winds) were around 20-25 sustained with gusts up to 35-40. My two door did just fine on the road, but MPG was TERRIBLE. I think I averaged 12 for that trip home.
You will also need to keep an eye on snow/ice covering these LED lights. No real heat to melt anything. I drove out of CO in a snow storm and had to keep pulling over to clean them off. It was perfect temp for precip to freeze up on them.
I saw two transport trucks rolling North on I-29 just over the IA line as I was heading South back to KC on Friday. They both had all Bronco's with one Maverick each.
This is what I picked:

I also did not like how the Bestop folded back. You can't get away from the slant back as that is how the roll bar is designed. I really love this top. Install was not too bad. My wife can open/close the top...
I did a Kicker 8" powered sub with new 4" in front and rear, all from Crutchfield. I left the stock 6.5 in place. For me, the biggest improvement was the forscan flat EQ download for the rear speakers. Look it up in the forscan forum. I put the SW behind the passenger rear panel.
I am old and...
I was heading home to KC from the CO mountains and doing 80 on I-70 MPG's were 15-16 with windy conditions. 2.3L 7spd 33" BFG's. My wife gets 19-20 driving in town back and forth to work.....
Ok, as an owner of a GT350 I must say your "lipstick' comment for the 500 is way off base. These are not GT's with some body panel's thrown on. Both the 350 & 500 are full blown factory track cars. Much more engineering went into them as well as better components for their builds.
While the SAS...
We have a 2 door and a Great Dane. We have found for him, the best is to fold the rear seat bottoms forward. Fold one rear seat back down. Load him up via the back. Then when he goes up we fold the rear seat back up. It creates a flat bottomed/level area for him to go side to side and be close...
We have rain in the forecast, so I finally put mine on after having it in the box for a week. I really like it. It does help a ton if you can get the top out in the sun for an hour or so to get it warm. I will stretch better to get the front part assembled. I am very pleased with the quality and...
I am in MO. I purchased a new car back in 2020, middle of COVID, for 19% below MSRP. My local DMV charged me tax on MSRP. I argued, but the whole process to even get an appt. back then took four months. I just paid it. However, I called the Dept. of Revenue and they said the local office was...
Mine is arriving in two days. I ordered on a Sunday and it will be delivered the next Friday. I can't wait to get it on as my wife loves having the hard top off, but with two mustangs taking up my only garage spaces, I am already tired of putting the hard top back on for the half day of rain...
