Call your insurance company and ask you have "lost key" coverage. A lot of times it's automatically included in a full-coverage policy with $0 deductible.
It does not come with an amp. If you notice most of the Stealthbox line up on the JL website start at $999.99
I recall paying around $749.00 for the Stealthbox in my VW GTI 11 years ago in a recovering economy.
You can ask your local authorized dealer for a picture when ordering, or you can wait until the wide public roll out online. I've seen it and fits in the factory B&O location.
FWIW, I've never seen a JL product I didn't like.
Hello all:
I was recently informed that the JL Audio Stealthbox for both the 2dr & 4dr are now available for order thru your authorized JL Audio dealer. Loaded with a 10TW1-2 MSRP is $1199.99
They're not up on the website to the public yet, but if you have an authorized JL Audio dealer in your...
IIRC I'm pretty sure I left mine on after reading this in the instruction manual:
Compression switch ON: To fully protect your speakers, you may turn the compression switch ON. This will cause the LIMITER to engage whenever the amplifier is about to output a clipped audio signal, though some...
I plugged the factory connector back into the head unit and tested the parking aid. The beeping comes from the left, center (both), or right rear speakers depending on what side the object is you might hit.
So I plugged the PnP harness back in and checked the Fader setting on the 200.4 and...
It was the fader switch on the amp. The reverse parking aid sensors output 95% of the beeping thru the rear speakers. With the fader settings OFF there’s no output signal to the rear speakers since it’s taking in only one input signal, instead of two.
Long story short, keep the Fader on the amp ON.
I left mine off. Seemed to get more juice out of the amp with it off. It does render the adjustments unusable, but I don't mind at all as I don't really need/ use them.
One thing to check, is to see that your reverse parking aid is working. A couple of weeks ago mine started beeping very...
It's definitely not adjustable with the knob. I contacted Ford C/S and they told me I should bring it to the dealer as there is no volume adjustability for the reverse sensing parking aid.
What is weird is that it happened AFTER the Plug N Play harness. It worked great for almost a year and just recently it started happening. I wonder if this is happening to others WITHOUT the Kicker amp and P n' P harness.
Interesting. Do you have any aftermarket sound equipment attached? What happened to me was that I was in "R" with the radio on and got a phone call at the same time the system was beeping. I turned the volume knob down in an effort to hear the phone call a little bit better, but it did something...
Hello all:
I got a good one here and I can’t find an answer anywhere. I’m having an issue where the parking aid volume is extremely faint when there is an object detected behind the Bronco. In “D” drive it’s normal volume when objects in front are detected but in “R” reverse you really have to...
*Edited for amp settings correction*
I got the power adapter kit and installed it yesterday. Redid the KEY setup and it made a HUGE difference. Things I suggest:
1.) Bi-Amp Mode OFF
2.) Fader ON
3.) Radio Detect Button -Verify Pushed In
4.) Speed Volume on Radio Disabled
5.) Level Out EQ on...
