When International Harvester ran into financial trouble in the 80’s, they reorganized as Navistar (big trucks and engines). Volkswagen’s commercial truck division merged with them a couple years ago, so VW got the name rights.
I suppose they could do a Terra pickup, a long wheel base Traveler...
To avoid the overheating, seems like you'd need something that keeps the phone positioned more precisely within the charging bed (e.g a iPhone magsafe magnetic ring)
I did see an add on my Facebook feed for these prank things that you hide in somebody’s house or office that sounds like a random smoke detector or a cricket
I've got the opposite situation. I always use CarPlay, but occasionally when my phone isn't connected when I start the engine, it waits for a few minutes and then decides "hey, I'll bet you want to listen to an FM station" and on comes the radio.
If I'm not mistaken all Ford dealers have access to a Ford Motor Company web app called CurrentBroncoOilCap. It has spinning numbers like a Vegas slot machine and when they do an oil change on your Bronco, they hit the Enter key and it stops on a number. Typically that number is between 6.00 and...
I'm interested in something similar too. Perhaps a couple LP6 lights not too close to the center (with harness). I don't have a brush bar, so thought maybe I could use the bolts where the brush bar is attached in this pic and not even need a mounting bracket other than the one that's part of the...
What more should the OP have done to "work the deal out"? He put down money, reserved his Bronco through the dealer, got updates on build progress, and then tried to get it the day he was notified by the dealer. I mean, I guess he could have had a team of lawyers vetting each step of the...
Yeah, that's a pretty narrow window. If the OP had the same agreement, though, he should be good, because he attempted to get it the same day as he was notified, trying to reach them via multiple methods.
For starters, it would warn people about a shady dealer, it would warn people using other details about the types of scenarios they might encounter, and it would provide the OP with a forum to discuss his options.
Also, the victims in these cases are not letting themselves get screwed
Some people join when they have reason to post. OP has a helluva reason. If I order a Hummer EV and a dealer pulls the same **** on me, I'm gonna find a forum and post about it.
I think I'm gonna make my own stick out of an old coat hangar. Next oil change, I'm putting in 6 qts of synthetic and a half quart of Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Yr Old.
If nothing else, we can use this to flush out the Jeep guys at the next Bronco Owners Club meeting. "Hey ask that guy that showed...
My anecdotal evidence has been the opposite, which makes no sense. I ran through a bunch of tanks of premium and averaged around 18.4 mpg. Then a tank of no-ethanol premium and I got slightly worse. Then a few tanks of standard unleaded and I averaged just over 20 mpg.
I didn't control for...
What if the driver weighs 20% more than the passenger and the passenger is only there 50% of the time? And the fuel tank averages %60 full? That changes things up a little...
