Just letting people know my bronco badlands got the same error as well last week. They finally got it in to the dealership today and said it was the transmission shifter module. "Only two in the country but its on emergency order and will come in 3 days" so this probably isn't a isolated issue...
So From rigid their is no disconnect. meaning that its impossible to take off unless you cut the wires. But I was looking into just cutting the wiring and adding my own waterproof disconnect. If you did that it would be super easy to take of the lights off because the first 4 screws you need to...
Looks great. Wasn't to bad to install. Wish ford didn't use 10mm bolts to hold those factory recovery points so you could swap them out without removing the whole bumper.
Feels wrong to call it a compact SUV as it has no real utility past driving from point A to B and maybe getting a few more bags of groceries in the trunk.
Yea that would help coming up my driveway. I live on a mountain so even rain makes the journey a little challenging. I just like that they are manual.
Just to give more info my bronco has a mic top and the sound deadening. Still a little loud past 70 so I crank up the tunes.
I've been dailying my badlands no sasquatch on I-70 and its been a lot better then any jeep I've driven in. Its not as good as a like a sedan like my kia soul. But it's still pretty pleasant. The only thing that annoys me is the road noise. But no matter what bronco you get that will always be a...
So rigid surprised me and sent my mounting bracket a few weeks back. Heres a pic with rigid mounting solution.(sorry for bad lighting ill take a better one tommorow)
Looks amazing. Heavy and great welds. However I can't find hardware anywhere inside the box. I even ripped the foam to bits to make sure it wasn't in a crack or something. Heres some pictures though.
How hard is it to remove the factory mounting points? Seems like they are buried behind the bumper.
I got my trigger finger ready for ordering next week.
Yeah I had to do that as well. Also the front two screws on both the far sides are a pain to screw on without some tiny tool or low profile tool because the tube projects forward right over the screws giving you minimal clearance.
I've heard different people tell me different things. I've heard what you have said. I've also heard if its flat leave it in neutral so if someone hits your parked car it doesn't hurt the tranmission. I've heard park it in second gear so if the trans is damaged you can still drive it to the...
My crawler gear likes to jump out randomly if I don't hold it in. Also the parking brake gets confused if you let off the clutch in neutral to fast while turning off your car. Had a couple of scary moments so now I always park the car in gear to avoid it rolling if it decides to disengage the...
Looks solid. I have a couple of questions.
Are the holes infront there for shackles?
How does it mount to the front recovery points(would the end user need to modify them).
Solid 3d modeling so far. Hope to see a prototype soon.
