We received our Built email yesterday and pizza tracker showed the same. Today we checked and it is showing shipped and CS provided us with our rail number…but still not holding my breath!
So update. After reading comments on other Build Dates, I contacted @Ford Motor Company CS to see what they had to say. NOW my ETA is Aug 6, 2022..."chip hold". They just told me yesterday that I had a 11-17 April ETA and was on "chip hold". Three days before that...12-18 May ETA...chip hold...
So here goes my latest with @Ford Motor Company and CS:
Chat 4 May 2022: Checking my status, CS states on "chip hold" (like I didn't know since 18 Jan 22)ETA 12-18 May. I ask, is that the EDD? CS states that is the estimated date for "resolution" to the chip hold.
Chat 11 May 2022: Checking...
What are they going to do? NOT give us our Broncos? Been there…done that! In 77 days it will be exactly 2 years since I started this BS! Thanks @Ford Motor Company !
Just because this has been FOREVER just to get the vehicle, I track it all:
645 days from reservation
470 days from original order
185 days from second order
108 days “In-Production”
78 days since original EDD
49 days since Ford’s last chain email
Weekly – Ford CS states: EDD is 5/12 –...
😂...it depends on what week it is. I can call this week and CS says that is my delivery timeframe. I called last week, they say it is when the "issue" will be resolved. Sometimes I call and there is no date at all...15 weeks "In Production" and waiting on @Ford Motor Company
Bright side, I shorted Ford stock this morning because of their wonderful Lightning launch...$1k more dollars to my down payment! Great job @Ford Motor Company
I am still "In Production" with an ETA of 5/12-5/18 as of yesterday's chat. Now, as of yesterday, the "ETA" meant Estimated Time of Arrival, but last week the "ETA" meant Estimated Time of Resolution to the current chip hold. So your guess is as good as mine.
How can this be happening? (Sarcasm alert)
@ Ford Motor Company stated that:
"We’re working hard to assemble your vehicle, but it’s going to take more time than expected to finish it.
We want to make sure it’s assembled right, so we will be performing quality checks, inspections and tests...
Thank you @Ford Motor Company! If it wasn't for my WS automatically changing on a weekly basis and the tracker increasing it's numbers constantly (was 260 on Monday), I would have NO MOVEMENT or COMMUNICATION pertaining to my order (like many others) in 84 days (since it went into production)!
