Thanks for the ideas. I didn't think about installing the unit in the back - only the antenna.
Where did you route the CAT5? Sounds like a bit of work.
I just got this security key error on my 2022 Big Bend, trying to add Baja and Rock Crawl GOAT modes. This was the only change that failed though. Stop/Start disabled, chimes disabled, and tire size changed and relearned successfully before that.
Had to use this to remove the bolt holding the knob to the shifter assembly:

Once everything was apart, the challenge was in...
Connected mine to AUX4 without connecting into the door wire. Although I ran the harness to that location in case I change my mind.
I went the slightly harder route and ran a 16 awg wire up the driver's A pillar, through the overhead trim, down the passenger's A pillar and into to the glove box...
Heard the noise for the first time yesterday morning after 9100 miles on the odometer. 38 degrees and parked outside.
I always warm it up until the idle RPMs go from 1200 down to 8-900 before taking off. This time it took a solid 5 minutes or more. That was also a first.
The sound wasn't loud...
About 8800 miles now.
Ventured out on the icy north Texas roads yesterday (literally ice, not snow), in "Slippery" mode / 4H.
Don't laugh, but that was the first time she has been out of 2H! Used the crawler gear to get from the driveway to the first neighborhood stop sign, then 1st and 2nd...

I'm surprised (and also not surprised) the API was open to begin with. The APIs I'm responsible for require an API key and an OAuth token - and they aren't even exposed to the public Internet.

I'd be interested to see what you come up with for the latches as well. Especially if it includes slimmer profile replacements for the catches on the inside corners of the tail gate. Something that allows a wider range of latch placement.
I had trouble finding information relevant to the ARB single compressor (there's plenty of info on the ARB twin), so I'm sharing my installation experience. This was my first time installing an on-board air compressor in any vehicle.
First thing to note is that the wire looms are completely...
I have family in SWLA, but I won't be back there for another 6 weeks or so. Hope you're not still fighting with it by then.
I've got 2K miles on my 7MT and I don't notice the issues you're describing. I keep it mainly in "Normal" mode with occasional excursions into "Sport". And aside from...
Here are the rest of my mods. You can see that the latches fully clear the Slipstream lid now, so I can rest it up against the speaker pods. There's about a 1/4" clearance on each side.
The tow straps let me pull the soft top closed from the bottom, which I think is easier with the IAG lift...
