So I hope I'm not being crazy here. If anyone has the time, look that this video at 1:14. I turned it down to .25 speed. Anything strange with the suspension?
Yeah I totally get it. An antenna would never be a deal breaker. The only vehicle I can compare it to is my current 4Runner. But I think the antenna is integrated in the quarter glass. Can't exactly do that to a vehicle with a removable top! This new Bronco reminds me so much of the old Scouts...
Still love how this thing is coming, and this is probably just nit picking, but does it seem odd for a 2021, brand new vehicle, to have a traditional antenna still? Maybe its a removable top issue and there's no where else to mount a modern shark fin antenna on the roof? Love seeing the progress...
And the rear opening to will two pieces. Look into the Jeep Wrangler. It has a swing out tailgate that the spare is bolted to. The tops glass will more than likely still swing up a like a normal hatch back. That will save you from getting wet too. A soft top would be... more problematic.
I noticed this when the undercarriage pics first leaked. If you have the time look up the Raptor Ranger. The rear axle on the Raptor Ranger actually uses a coilover setup. So there isn't a separate shock and coil spring. Im very interested on how the setup is going to work. It cleans up the axle...
Wow!!! This is absolutely incredible. Thank you so much for sharing all of this. I have been obsessed with Scouts since i was 13 (now 30). I have never seen this special edition before. I thought the first couple of photos were a Scout Traveler at first. It would be amazing to come across a...
Wow!! This is so cool to see. Was wondering if you could answer a question for me. I currently have a 1978 International Scout 2 that I'm trying to restore. Since your design was around the time of the Scout 2 hitting the market, was there any influence from it when it came to your design, or...
I think you could be onto something. The hinges are pretty small to support the large tail gate and possible 35 inch tires. I'm personally hoping its just a tire swing out with a normal truck like tailgate. Guess time will tell!
I was thinking the exact same thing! Ive been looking over the rear axle and I just can't seem to find a rear coil. Some of the outside pics might show a coil behind the tire. Makes me wonder if there is some sort of coilover system going on back there!
