  4. Feedback on Sasquatch with SumoSprings - Compromises and Experiences?

Thanks to the guys on here, I was able to install my Sumposprings plus 2 inches of Timbren's on each side. Unloaded, there is just about 1/2 inch gap. Fully loaded without water jugs filled up, the springs are compressed by about an inch. This is what is looks like now. I will fill up my...
  5. Feedback on Sasquatch with SumoSprings - Compromises and Experiences?

Excellent info and pictures. Thanks for sharing. I just ordered a set of Timbren spacers after I sa your post and will do the installation when the SumoSprings arrive next week. I went with the blue ones, but I like the idea of making contact with the chassis. The nice thing about stacking...
  6. ARB Jack Question

Hi there, I just received mine and painted them black. Do you know the torque specs for the bolts? I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Thanks, EDIT: HK Offroad just wrote back and confirmed that it is 59 lb/ft.
  7. Feedback on Sasquatch with SumoSprings - Compromises and Experiences?

That’s great. I did a similar thing when I ordered my sumosprings. I ordered an extra set of their spacers, but I need to source the correct screws. I’m still worried that even with the extra spacer, they will be further than half an inch from the chassis, so I may look into additional spacers...
  8. Feedback on Sasquatch with SumoSprings - Compromises and Experiences?

What a coincidence! I've been trying the solve the exact same issues as the OP, and literally just left my local 4WP store. I asked the manager what suggestions he had, and he showed me SumoSprings on his computer. He then walked out and measured my Bronco's gap. I have 7 inches of gap...
  9. Please help me identify these

With my setup, the Bronco sits level. Which I do not like. Once I add my camping gear, the rear sags by about an inch or more. I'm finalizing a few things before I decide on new rear springs. Ideally, the rear should be higher than the front by about 1 1/2 inches when the car is empty. That way...
  10. ARB Jack Question

Thanks. That is by far the best option I have seen so far. I did see the red piece a few weeks ago but did not know anybody made d rings for the rear. Very cool. a bunch of companies sell it. But I do not like the design for many reasons. My OCD hurts looking at it lol plus I have a table and...
  11. ARB Jack Question

Another point about the ARB Jack is that it cannot be mounted horizontally like the hi-lift Jack. ARB says the top has to be elevated slightly to avoid any leakage… i was planning on storing it behind the driver seat and secure it to the headrest, if I can get it to work on my car.
  12. ARB Jack Question

I'm not worried about getting hurt or damaging my car as much as I'm worried about finding a good jacking point when in a hurry, offroading with a group... The ARB Jack is super simple to use, but the Bronco is not the perfect candidate. Unless you have metal front and rear bumpers along with...
  13. ARB Jack Question

Yes. As much as I love to find a way to use it, I think a nice bottle jack would serve me a lot better.
  14. ARB Jack Question

This is not a hi-lift jack, It is the ARB Jack. Pretty simple to use. But the problem is not having enough armor to use it on.
  15. ARB Jack Question

Yes. That would be great. I might have to "borrow" one from Amazon and find out!
  16. Dune bashing with the Bronco. Color me impressed!

Did I just see an "Almost 4x4" orange flag? Is that the group you were with?
  17. ARB Jack Question

No. He got 2, one for each of us. I'm trying to find a way to use it. I think if I can find a way to extend the part that folds out, I will be able to use it. I'll keep looking. Maybe the Australian forums will have a solution. I'll look. Thanks
  18. ARB Jack Question

Hi guys, I received an ARB Jack as a Christmas gift from a friend. I love it, but how the hell do I use it on the Bronco? I have the stock Black Diamond rock rails and besides the modular front bumper, I don't see any realistic jacking points on my Bronco. Does anyone here use one on their...
