Detailer isn't going to work. I have scratches in mine due to luggage, etc.. Unless there is some miracle compound, it isn't coming out. It's surprisingly cheapish plastic. My new F150 is much more durable.

I'm with you that a new vehicle should be perfect but I will say the plastic interior is not very sturdy, in that it will scratch easy. I've just come to accept it

It works except for the fact that Burger customer service sucks! My BT isn't working any longer. I have it installed almost exactly the same as you do, with the box being 3m'd to the metal. BT worked for a month and now doesn't find anything. You can't call it customer service if you can't...
