Another update here - after a wait for all the parts, my transmission was replaced and covered under warranty. My dealership was great in getting it taken care of and had the work done within a few days. So far I have not had any problems so hopefully it's smooth sailing now.
@Flakes25 I'm a little late to reply, but I can vouch for Chris and Brondes. I have a MY21 Bronco that I got through Brondes. It is actually my fourth car through this dealership and they have always been a class act. They don't jerk people around and run a quality business.
This was my...
Hi y'all - an update that's not much of an update here. Nothing has changed as they are still waiting on the parts, which I suppose I was expecting. My Bronco is still drivable and no service lights have come on thankfully. Hoping to finally have it fixed up here soon.
I want to add to this as the OP that I wasn’t here to bash Ford at all. I know things happen, parts fail, or there was a QC issue, or whatever. I’m just disappointed and frustrated as I’m sure anyone would be in this situation.
My dealer got me in right away and Ford has reached out to me...
Well folks, I took a hiatus from the boards after getting my Bronco (4dr OBX 2.3 automatic) back in October, but I'm back with some frustrating news. This past Friday I noticed it started getting very jerky when accelerating and decelerating, and lurching hard when shifting from reverse to...
Yes, I'm going to try that as well. It seems to not be a Bronco-specific issue as I found a ton of posts on various car forums with similar concerns with a remote start during cold weather...I emailed my dealer but I'm not going to get up in arms or anything at this point unless it becomes a...
I just came on here and had the same issue this AM. I've used the remote start a couple times and hadn't had an issue, but this was the longest I've let it run under the remote start and by the time I got in the car, there was an odd burning smell. When I started the car and the fans and all...
@Alpha1_Silverback Ah, I forgot to tag you but thanks for clarifying! It was Sautter's over in Sylvania...They must've come in after me but parked right by. I snagged some pics b/c I really liked the retro logo emblem they put on and b/c it was cool to see them right by each other lol
@BigMex Sure has! It was a really small local grocery and I have a CG OBX 4dr, so it was cool to walk out and see one right near mine since I've only seen one out in the wild so far.
Was at a local grocery store and had a Bronco park one down from me but wasn't able to catch the owner...anyone on here in the Toledo area have a 4dr, carb grey, soft top, believe it was a black diamond, and put the retro Bronco logo in place of the badge on the side?
Oh man, I know. I loved WVU. RIP my liver from those years though. I lived on Prospect during the Osama riots...what a time, what a time. The era of Da'Sean Butler, Devin Ebanks, and Kevin Jones...I remember people camping out for days before one of the big home games against Nova freshman...
I went high - I guess I just didn't think the cost of going to Lux was worth it for me, but I'm very satisfied with the high package and the 12in screen is awesome.
@jimi1851 So typically I worked through Rick Lawrence, but Chris Peters is their Bronco guy and he knows his stuff - I can't say enough great things about him. I had a lot of questions and emailed Chris frequently and he ALWAYS got back to me. Absolutely great with communication and would...
