I love the idea of a rag top bronco... I hope that they can come up with something that fits a bit better than the jeep version and doesn't look as crappy as the jeep version. To me the "sunrider" position of the jeep soft top looks like an afterthought and there has to be a better way to do...
I was pretty bummed initially with the lack of Squatch with a manual. However after thinking about, its still a bit frustrating but the Bronco is pretty killer so I think I can deal for a while with the smaller tires. Besides, half the fun is modding the thing right?
I will be dailying the...
I must have missed that! That changes some things for me a bit. Knowing that the main differences ae the high clearance flares and the 35" tires... those can be changed...
Thanks
The Sasquatch on the Badlands and a manual was where I wanted to go so this news is a disappointment. If truthfully the only thing you give up here is the 35" tires and the 4.7 ratio then I could still be interested but it is has me looking at Jeep Gladiators again for some reason.
I think...
For me it likely would be a deal breaker for the Bronco as a whole, but I still have some thinking to do and there is more information to come out.
I have been choosing between a Gladiator Rubicon or Mojave with a standard transmission and the Bronco. I still may look at the Badlands with the...
There could be toruble brewing form Jeep... a Hemi powered wrangler looks to be in the works?

For me the goal is a 2.7 with a stick. I like the cabin tech, but don't need it... The idea of factory backed actual performance enhancements, something that is warrantied, repeatable and reliable, that's music to my ears!
I will be dailying this thing for the first several years, still want...
MR2 Turbo... The 89 - 99 models with the turbos were fantastic! I never could get my mind around the idea of that MR2 Spyder with no power that they put out in the early 2000's.
Truth. I have always had a thing for sports cars, but I am a bigger guy and I like the way the Challenger feels compared to mustangs and Camaros and other options there. Besides, that Hemi is killer... Had an 11 second Camaro SS in college and I miss that feeling.
But honestly I want an...
If the Bronco comes out with that 2.7 and a manual transmission I don't think I will need a plan b.. However, if not I have been looking at several options, all with standard transmissions...
1. Gladiator Mojave or Rubicon... haven't decided
2. TRDpro Tacoma
3. Challenger Scat Pack
I have been wondering about these questions. I prefer the soft top because I have always loved a rag top convertible! However I don't really like the way that the soft tops look on the gladiator or JL as they kinda bunch up on the topof the vehicle like a Model-T. I would love to see what...
If this is in fact going to be a 7 speed 3 pedal vehicle then my decisions have been made. The Gladiator vs. Bronco debate is decided based upon the existence of the clutch pedal in the Bronco.
I truly hope this news is confirmed when the Bronco reveal happens this month.
My Kia.... sigh.... has 130K on it and is starting to seep oil out of the valve cover and oil pan. Simple fixes both, but are they indicative of future problems? Can it make it until next spring? These things keep me up at night and make my Gladiator vs. Bronco decision making process...
I don't know why it is so hard for manufacturers to create stick shift cars anymore. I am sounding like an old man, and I am not quite there yet....
But I will say that a standard transmission is this country's best anti theft device...
I can tell you one thing, the manual transmission is a deal breaker for me. If this thing comes out the way it sounds like it will, with the 2.7 and a stick shift, count me in. If they go auto only, I will be purchasing a Gladiator...
