Yeah....these are Moab/Easter concepts they come out every year, that vehicle will never see production
Let's get one thing straight, Ford benchmarked the Bronco to the Jeep and copied a ton of it. So....I think it's probably smart to back off Jeep ripping off Ford.
I'm using the bimini top a guy that was on this forum was selling, it worked pretty well the first year. I'm going to roll with that another year (basically from May - September). No flapping, no issues at interstate speeds. This is a must have for me, I'm pretty much hard top part of the year...
Yeah....see needing something like an anti-rattle plate, etc. kinda makes me want to stick with my current solution - handlebars down in the back with the front wheel off. It's secure, I'm not worrying about it falling off, and it to my knowledge so far....hasn't hurt the bike.
The main reason...
Ok, I've asked this a ton of times and still not completely clear on an answer, so here's what I've got and what I'm looking for:
SAS 2 door, no hitch
I want the 1UP Heavy Duty Single
I want to clear the tailgate with the mount tilted downward (no swing arm)
What do I need far as hitch...
Cool, maybe down the road a cargo area portion for the rear of the 2 door might be a nice add-on for me. That's the area that really gets beat and covered in sand. Exhibit A attached!
Also......Armorlite you will see that I used one of your competitors for the cargo area in my JL (only because...
I'm sure it would.......so the JL has gone on to a new home. I do love your customer service...Armorlite is literally one reason I bought the JL as I hated Rhinoliner/Line-X as an option in my TJ/JK. The JK I actually did nothing and basically destroyed the cab throughout.
I'm going to roll...
I feel like I can weigh in here as I had a JL with the full Armorlite build (except cargo - my Bronco got built after a 2.5 year wait just as it came out). I'm in sand, mud, etc. all of the time between surf/kiteboarding and mtn biking so a washout floor is a necessity. Here's my comp between...
2 door all the way, and I debated this for awhile. I had a 2 door Jeep when I was young for a few months, but mostly a truck, a XJ 4 door, then a 4 door JK and JL. The Bronco in a 2 door is the perfect dimensions as opposed to a 2 door JL/jeep. I've taken the back seats out, and can fit mtn...
Yeah, that looks like it's with the swing. I don't know, I haven't had any issues just loading the bike into the cargo with no rear seats (front wheel off). I might just keep rolling with that, secure, no issues, can still go 4 wheeling if I want on a bike trip.
I'm wondering this too.....basically I want the Heavy Duty Single mount with extender, but want to be able to open the tailgate without the swing arm when the bike is not loaded (Sasquatch 2 door), I'd be buying the Curt hitch as well.
Dumb question but if you don't have the RakAttack or Kuat Swingarm, and you don't have a bike loaded, will the 1up rack fold down enough to open the tailgate (i.e. all of the times you open the tailgate without a bike loaded)?
Reservation June 2021, ordered '21, '22, '23, received the build e-mail the same day Ford asked me to switch my build based on constraints. Dealer was absolutely wonderful to work with - Walterboro Ford, South Carolina, all rebates taken off the sales price, invoice pricing, no fees.
This...
Quick question - I have washout flooring, and I definitely use it with sand and mud from the beach and mtn biking. This isn't an occasional thing, this is basically 5 times a week I'm loading sandy or muddy gear in the back. I'm removed the passenger rear seat, and I'm likely going to go ahead...
Update to this, I've ran without the rear passenger seat for awhile now, and I"m probably about to take out the other rear seat. Here's my question - what is everyone doing to cover the exposed flooring area where the seats were with the rest of the washout flooring. I'm thinking of getting some...
That's true actually, I completely forgot my wife had a 4Runner with the same thing on it. I still think some of the retro theme and beefing it up off road wise can be contributed to the Bronco's success.
I honestly really like it, not for me.....way too big and I need something I can spray out (in fact other than Jeep a Toyota is the only vehicle I've owned - '93 Pickup). The bigger takeaway from this is how much the Bronco has impacted the market. The marketing, off-road modes, and just overall...
Yeah, probably not....sorry.....but I have a 2 dr Badlands SAS, 7MT, only add on was a roof rack, OTD - $45,500 in March 2023 (+$500 in sales tax - capped in SC). MSRP right now is like $56,200 or so.
I got it through price protection and putting a $100 deposit/reservation in with a small-town...
What do you think you will use a front locker for? The 2.3 manual I can vouch for is very fun to drive, it was the motivating factor for me to move to a Bronco from a JL. I love it, so....if you are going that route, then yeah I would go Badlands, get the 33" tires and not change a thing.
