That is the point. I scratched my ā18 Colorado zr2 all to hell and didnāt want to do the same to the Bronco. Even more so now that Cyber Orange is gone.
Donāt want a garage queen, but Iāll feel better doing trails in Michiganās UP with ppf taking the scratches and not the paint.
Iām not...
I canāt speak out of personal experience since the bronco is the first time Iāve ever bought ppf for anything but my installer (who uses stek film) basically said the same thing. That putting ceramic coating over top a good film with ceramic properties wonāt do much. I would be inclined to say...
A local company affiliated with a local group Iām in uses stek paint protection film and I had them do full sides and hood on my 2dr and it was roughly $3000.
I have no experience with ppf but I have plenty of experience with ceramic coatings and do my own paint protection and correction. I...
I just find it strange that they removed that functionality. The r button may work in conjunction with it but I donāt see why it would be one or the other.
I have no experience with the full digital cluster from ford but Iām pretty happy with the āmy screenā you can setup in the regular bronco dash. Most manufacturers from my experience donāt offer much customization for digital dashes, and Iāve never been super impressed with fcaās either.

As other have said 4x4truckleds has adapters for most of the popular aftermarket pod lights and I have them for the diode dynamics pods.
I would be careful with some of the brackets from 4x4truckleds though... the KR offroad bracket I have (picture attached) does not allow you to properly aim...
Imo, the braptor is trying very hard to be something the Bronco was never really supposed to be. The bronco is a trail machine and the braptor doesnāt do anything better on a trail and will likely be worse due to size than a regular bronco.
Just my opinion I guess. For 91k Iād much rather have...
I'm gonna be doing a roadtrip in the spring with mine with a similar trailer and very curious what kind of fuel economy you got with that trailer and if you have the 2.7 or 2.3 and 7mt/10spd (saw build thread. 2.3+7mt). I am kind of concerned about range.
Awesome photos... I need to buy a...
Huh, I can see in my routerās history I connected the bronco back in November and it connected for a few days then never connected from 11/8 to 1/12 when I told it to connect in settings menu for it.
To be clear you have the 12in screen right?
Are you CERTAIN itās connecting to WiFi at your house? Mine didnāt actually connect and download the update until I went into the menu and clicked connect and it immediately started downloading it in the middle of the day.
carplay doesnāt really support 2 apps at the same time. There is the ādashboardā view shown in the screenshot someone posted above but itās not really multiple apps, they are simplified and you still have to open them to really interact with them.
I REALLY like how ford lets us pick size now so...
if you have a calendar event āsoonā it will show it but idk off the top of my head if you can change much. You might be able to turn off the calendar but youād have to look in the settings in CarPlay on the CarPlay Home Screen.
They do, I know itās in the explorer but that also has the real ālane centering almost drive itselfā cruise available as well.
we only get the āIām gonna bounce you back into the lane but the rest is up to youā lane keep assist
Yeahā¦
Itās probably related to the dash not liking 2 nav data sources because afaik the speed limit indicator in the bronco is map data based not camera based like some. Otherwise Iād expect weād have the āintelligentā cruise option not just adaptive.
I just checked. With Apple Maps going the speed limit indicator goes away but with google maps it does not.
This indicates itās related to Apple Maps sending the nav data through CarPlay to show on the dash which google maps does not.
