  1. 2024 2 Door Outer Banks Eliminated . Wife Bronco Sale

i have a 2dr BL. it comes with carpeted floor mats standard. i just take them out when washing out the insides. the carpet mats cover any relevant surfaces you'd mess with. so, i wouldn't let the flooring be a detracting issue. now, if color matched fenders are a must...obviously there will be...
  2. Hood Lift Struts Kits -- Steeda vs. Ford Performance ?

no ragrets on the Redline Tuning struts. have used them on multiple vehicles without issue.
  3. 2023 Bronco Total Speaker Upgrade Notes

yeah...to upgrade the B&O system with more than just swapping speakers, you'll need to bypass the DSP/amp at some point. you won't be able to easily at aftermarket amps into the mix otherwise. i had success with the PAC AP4-FD31.
  4. Anyone have these? - IAG V2 EZ-Step Add-On

I use the full length ones. They don't stick out too much. But, they have kept a couple doors from hitting mine. I'm about 5'9, and I step over them without issue to get in. It's mostly for my kids...they use them regularly to climb in easily.
  5. Houston Area Dealership to Install Ford Performance Calibration Tune???

sorry for necro'ing an older post. i've tried calling various dealerships all around Houston for pricing. Tommie Vaughn quoted me at $450, since i got the bronco through them. it would be $600 otherwise for anyone else...so hard pass. most other dealerships in Houston said no - Sterling McCall...
  6. Poll: Canvas or Mesh Bimini Top?

another vote for JTops. their mesh top is fine on the highway even at 75-80+mph. no loud flapping of the mesh...no need to readjust it after the drive. even in the Houston heat wave...it's kept me cool enough when out without the top/doors. the light that does get through the mesh isn't enough...
  7. Anyone compare Sasquatch HOSS vs Gladiator Mojave suspensions?

I have a Badlands and a Mojave. The Mojave is definitely bounces a lot more over any bumps - eg. potholes, railroad tracks, uneven roads, and etc. The Badlands is noticeably smoother over them.
  8. Does anyone own a Gladiator? Thinking about getting an Overland...

I have a fairly loaded Gladiator with the Mojave trim. If you're dead-set on getting a truck you can take the doors/top off of, then it's a great (really your only) choice. Otherwise, most of the other newer mid-sized trucks would be a better choice. You pay a premium in price just for that...
  9. Hard top users - what is your plan of attack for summer?

I have a 2dr and regularly use the TopLift Pro to take off/store the top. The panels I leave in their bag which hangs on some hooks attached to garage shelves. The doors are in Ford storage bags and left on a DIY wooden cart with casters. The JTops mesh is a lifesaver, and I leave it on all the...
  10. Love my B&O upgrade!!

nice set up (y)...i went a similar route. Audiotec-Fischer's Helix line of DSPs are really nice.
  11. Texas Various Amps

The 4 channel one...probably better to inexpensively upgrade the base sound system. The 6 channel one without a DSP would be OK...but I'd consider adding an external DSP for more control. The 6 channel with a DSP would be good - I really don't think the center speaker is that important. But if...
  12. Texas Various Amps

The Rockford amp is a budget option...but you'll have less potential volume overall. You'll need to add passive crossovers to wire all speaker locations (front R/L, kick R/L, and rear R/L). Passive crossovers will always lose some energy as heat...and that will lower the output to the affected...
  13. Talk To Me About Driving Manuals

i really like the manual in the bronco. thus far, it's shifted well, and the engagement is similar to other cars (ie. not trucks) i've owned. the engagement point of the clutch is certainly not as a high for the bronco as my mojave. if you don't unfortunately get a lemon...i'm sure you'll enjoy...
  14. Texas Various Amps

Hello, I'm selling three different amps. Venmo or Zelle for local pickup - Houston, TX. I'm willing to ship and can invoice via PayPal - all associated fees will be at the buyer's expense. Rockford Fosgate R2-500X4 - $250 -4channel amp with 75W RMS @ 4 ohms -I threw away the retail box...
  15. Is $5k too much for a professional audio overhaul?

i do think the B&O system isn't so bad. i think it sounds nice enough with "surround" mode on. i did swap out the stock speakers. now i have audiofrogs in all the spots aside from the sub - still stock, for now. that includes using 6.5" coaxials in the rear pods instead the 4" stock ones. all...
  16. Everyone needs to let him know these will sell - 6.5" Speaker pods for the rear

in case you're still wondering about the Mabett pods for a 2-door bronco...i'd skip it. i tried to install it in mine...and they don't fit well. i've left them, because i can't return then and want to use the 6.5" speakers, for now. i'm still searching for another option. the MTI pods say they...
