Same here. My 2.7L does not gear search. I'm actually amazed at how smooth it is. If I wasn't worried about the valve issue destroying my engine life would be good.
How many two door Bronco's in antimatter blue have you seen? I would love to know how many were made since it's now a discontinued color. I could have a rare Bronco. All is well with my 2.7L engine (21174 build day) at 2,163 miles for now. Just waiting for the engine to blow.

I'm about to hit 2000 miles on my 174 engine build date and I'm wondering if I should sell now before I have the problem. Not knowing sucks the enjoyment out of owning it.
I hit 26 MPG on a long trip in my 2016 Mustang GT so I have no problem believing 27MPG in an 2.3L EcoBoost. My 2.7L Bronco w/SAS however won't get much past 18.1 MPG no matter what I do.

Here in Florida I give Jeeps a Jeep wave from my Bronco to see if they wave back. I got a few waves back when I first got my Bronco last December but recently Jeep owners are acting like they don't see me. Is there some secret animosity between Jeep and Bronco that I'm not aware of?
If there is a way for Ford to test the 2.7L engine and predict if it's likely to fail, Ford should be sending letters to every owner that has one to schedule an appointment. Isn't it more expensive to replace the engine and possibly the turbos than to try to fix the issue before it happens?
