All I’m saying is it is inconsistent and not accurate. My screen will say 20 and the actual will be 18.7, then the screen will say 18 and actual will be 19. Obviously, doesn’t change how much I spend on fuel but I like having the data. With keeping the records I see that cheap Walmart fuel gives...
everyone needs to calculate the actual MPG, the screen is too generous.
I get 17-19 in normal driving, city and highway (below 70)
12-14 (roadtrips above 70 and offroading/overlanding)
4dr badlands
2in lift
35s
with roof rack
Sure... He also told me about a ton of other issues they were having with warranty issues and damaged parts. Buy the shock guards if you want them, I was just sharing my experience.
The crews at the TX off rodeo said you don't need them. Their logic is that if inexperienced drivers are on their rigs constantly, they would know if you would get damage... They said in TX they have never had any damage.
There are 2 metal plates that the soft top latches to at the hinge for the partial open position but the seller of the soft top will likely give those to you as you have to remove them for the hard top.
I did the RC hidden winch mount for the skid plat replacement with my capable bumper. I have seen others hide an led bar behind/above the bumper but no other accessories. Leave the license plate off the front.
Update, they "reset the computer" and it works again but doesn't seem to have the most recent update. They are still working on a few other small warranty things like a gap in one of the hard top panels.
These are the lowest currently and I checked 4 companies but thanks for your input. Without my discount code they are 70+... In the end, its not the end of the world but I should not have to pay any money out of my pocket for this.
I believe it will be considered a warranty repair but it’s frustrating they told me that it may not be. I can’t imagine a scenario where this plays out that it’s not covered. I just don’t know how long it will take and I don’t know if they are going to reimburse me for the rental
A CS rep told me yesterday evening that a rental car is paid for through the dealer. The dealer said that isnt true. Then i spoke to a different ford rep who said since I rented a non-Ford vehicle they will only cover $40 per day (not 45)... IF the dealer can confirm it is covered under warranty...
a ford pass customer service rep just told me over the phone that if a :master reset: occurs then it will lose the securialert feature. Currently that feature is not released and is scheduled to be re-released in the future (3rd quarter of this year 2023)

I suspect they stopped enabling that feature after a certain production date:
my 22 badlands had it until today when the dealer disconnected and then reconnected my vehicle to the fordpass account...
my 22 black diamonds (i purchased 2) both produced after the badlands never had the...
Update: dealer said the sync specialist can’t even get power to the vehicle so they are now having to troubleshoot that. I have no idea what that means. I got an app update that the vehicle is no longer connected to my account shortly beforehand.
