4Runner. The salesman I had been communicating with on-and-off called me at the height of my daily frustration and mentioned he had a cancellation that morning, so I went to take a look. It grows on me every day and, more and more, seems like the exact right choice for what I want to do.
It was...
@CO-Bronco, please delete my entry. I am out.
There is news.
Picked up a different vehicle Friday night. Haven't officially canceled the Bronco yet, but feeling pretty good about that plan. Some of you guys on here have been pretty cool, but feel pretty gross about Ford and their vehicle...
I don't expect nor want updates on my vehicle from a senior manager at Ford's corporate office (I also couldn't stomach a beer with a character like this guy). What I do expect, however, is for such a person to create a culture and system by which dealerships and customers are given meaningful...
Yeah, I just can't figure out why I am not dropping out of this when I have so much disdain for the company as a result of this constant BS. All the manufacturers are having supply issues, and these extend to numerous other industries. It is the borderline-deceitful communications that make me nuts.

I had expected to take the front wheel off, so the picture was not a perfect example. Living within a city, a larger vehicle starts to become a serious liability.
That additional photo is helpful, thank you. The Pivot 2 appears to be a perfect fit; I was worried I would need the Pivot plus an extender. The fit for the locking pin is tight but that is not a bad thing in itself.
I am glad you posted this. I am an NV2 user and bought the pivot 2 in anticipation of the extender problem. My ability to transport bikes is paramount and more important than the Bronco itself.
In your third picture, the locking pin does not seem to be within the actual hitch assembly that is...
There's a guy on Youtube who makes videos about the car industry, claims to be a former insider, says never pay cash. He says to finance then pay off early without a penalty. The dealers are looking for their commission on the financing and saying you will pay cash means they need to make that...
