I love the truck, but there are too many electrical gremlins, the result of being rushed into production. Sometimes it won't start, sometimes it won't release the gawdawful ebrake that I didn't set, the infotainment screen locks up, and there are always new codes popping up in Forscan that...
I removed mine a few months after I got my Bronco, hearing the horror stories, so I could give them a coat of never seize. A few were tight, just be gentle, using an impact or anything but a ratchet and patience will break anything.
My expectations aren't unreasonable, but when it won't start it hits rock bottom. Looking at about a $10k loss to trade it for something else after 7,000 miles.
Yup, I get CELs, dealer is always 3-4 weeks for an appointment. By the time they can look at it they can't find any codes. I'm not bringing it in unless it won't move at this point.
The cluster was designed by someone that never drove a car, it is abysmal. I thought the 1984 Corvette would hold the title of World's Worst Dash, but Ford proved me wrong.
