No snapping. I had read here that others were doing the same because of the issues of the weight sitting on them while trying to put the top back on and get them perfectly in place. I just held the bottom with pliers and unscrewed them.
They are totally unnecessary when putting the top back on...
Can’t complain for the price. When it’s warmer I will get them tucked in tighter. In the 30’s here today and I don’t have a garage to work in.
One question for @Mabett or anyone else who has used seat covers before- in all your pictures and your install sheet, you install yours with the airbag...
I got some lame email about a week after mine was built saying my Bronco just couldn’t wait to get out into the wild. I guess that’s better than them trying to send me a picture of someone else’s build.
I didn’t notice the bracket affecting the fender flare. I’ll have to look at mine when I get home. Once I I started threading the mabett screws, I pushed hard on the plastic pop rivet to get it in place and hold. The insert goes on the outside of the flap and then through the hole on the body...
I would have bought the black. I just don’t have the seats they fit on. Not crazy about the red but I think it’s the limited models that they fit on that is causing them not to sell.
I know you’re making a joke and attempting to be funny but you’re getting yours in under a year. I waited over 17 months for mine. Most are still waiting. Mine was also delivered in less than a month after the build email. 9/16 build week I think and delivered 10/5, five days before their...
Believe what you want. I said “seems to me” and you said “allegedly”. I refuse to believe anything Ford has said because they change the rules and pretend this hasn’t been jacked up from the start. I just know from watching the release threads here that the trim levels seemed to be drawn in...
Seems to me the shit show that is @Ford Motor Company released them in batches. They started with the big bend line jumpers and ate up a lot of what they were calling constrained items. OBX and BD went next. This last round looked like finally Wildtraks and Badlands got pulled.
Nope. They have been building them with tow the entire time. That would probably be as much a delay as someone eating two allocations up because they couldn’t wait their turn and put in multiple orders. Walk in after walk in line jumped and were getting tow and other “constraints”. @Ford Motor...
How does this happen? You never bothered getting any copies of the paperwork? You never wondered why you didn’t get a confirmation email?
I’m on my third salesman. I check in with him monthly to make sure he stil works there. The first guy quit without a word from him or the dealership so I...
Ford chat didn’t exactly say you were getting a MY22. She just said the model year hasn’t changed. Which it hasn’t yet. They aren’t going to tell you “no, it doesn’t look like you’ll get pulled this model year.” That would be bad business and stringing you along with false hopes with a vague...
